Alex's p.o.v

I immediately text Peggy to tell here. She had liked Maria back but was way too shy to confess her feelings.

Alex: I'm sorry about Maria....

Peggy: it's okay... I'll be fine

Alex: did Liza know?

Peggy: I don't know, but I think it's best to not tell her

Alex: but didn't Eliza just meet her?

Peggy: Yea, why?

Alex: then there's still a chance.

Alex: I could set her up with a friend before anything becomes official

Peggy: you'd really do that?! For me?!

Alex: of course!

Peggy: who's the friend??

Alex: Martha Manning

Alex: if she agreed to a date with Mari she'll date her

Peggy: I hope so

Alex: hey Martha! I was wondering if I could set you up on a blind date?

Martha: Uh... I don't know Alex, the last date I went on kinda went downhill

Alex: nonsense! She's an amazing person! You'll love her!

Martha: okay... I'll give it a shot

Alex: go to the coffee shop on Main Street tomorrow at 4:30

Martha: okay

Martha: what's she like?

Alex: it wouldn't be a blind date if I told you, now would it?

Alex: tell Eliza to meet her tomorrow at 4:30, the coffee shop on Main Street

Peggy: are you sure this will work?

Peggy: I feel kinda bad

Alex: nothing is official yet so it's not a bad thing really

Peggy: true but what if they hit it off?

Alex: Maria will realize what she missed out on!

Alex: if I tell you something you can't tell anyone okay?

Peggy: okay! What is it??

Alex: Maria actually had the biggest crush on you, this just may be her way of getting you to notice her

Peggy: oml... you're right!

Peggy: oh and Liza said she'd meet her

Alex: perfect now I'll text Mari to ask you out!

Peggy: Alex no, you don't need to

Alex: we did not just set Eliza up with someone else for no reason, this is happening!
