This takes place long after Eliza's family fell apart. Her children had gone their ways, enjoying their lives. Grim? Her memory was a little...faulty over that one. She had changed her name to August and went back to her old...old ways, not using magic. She went to law school, made a living...a wealthy one, but her greatest success of modern time was her current job, a detective with a subsection of the FBI who looked into magic and non-magic cases.

This story is about Eliza Schuyler keeping a secret that only her family and friends, know about from the man she loves. She has no contact with him as he had left her to find a work opportunity abroad. In this story, it's going to show how Eliza gets back in contact with Alexander and all the things they are going to face as he discovers her little secret.
