"Raph, please wait", you said as you ran after boyfriend.
Of course it had to come like this. Of course they had to fight ... AGAIN. Leo and Raph always got under each others skin and it was your and their brothers job to clam them down. Leo was easier to handle though, meditate with him or let him meditate by himself and he was fine. Raph on the other hand. He was like a tornado, punching walls, breaking things.
He stormed into his room and threw everything he had on his dresser to the floor.
"Raph", you said.
He finally looked up to you, cue you getting closer to him. He would never hurt you, in fact you were the only person on earth who could calm him down.
"Don't break things baby", you said.
You reached out to grab his hand and gently rubbed your thumb over them. Even small gestures like that helped calming him.
"Sorry", he sighed, "it's just ... GOD HE MAKES ME SO ANGRY. HE LITERALLY DRIVES ME INSANE", he screamed.
"I know. I've been here often enough", you said and gave him an encouraging smile.
"I'm sorry you have to see that so often", he said.
"It's fine. Come here", you gave back and pulled him into a hug.
You were nowhere near tall enough to reach his neck so you wrapped your arms around his waist and shell. He placed his right hand on your head while his left one gently held rubbed your back. You could hear is heart racing and you knew you needed him to relax.
You pulled away and led him to the bed. He raised a brow, not fully understanding what you wanted.
"Cuddling always helps", you shrugged.
Raph smiled a little and laid next to you. His arm was underneath your neck, the other one on your waist. You faced him and could stare into his eyes, that you loved so much.
"You're so goddamn beautiful", you said and traced his face.
"No I'm not", he gave back.
"You are!"
You gently placed a kiss on his nose and watch him giggle a bit. He then pulled you close and he moved down a little. Now he was listening to your heartbeat. Raph felt better immediately.
"I love you so much", he whispered.
"I love you too", you gave back, "now, try to forget everything, okay?"
"That will he hard, but I try. As long as I have you to keep me safe, I'm fine."
You hugged him a little, kissing the top of his head. You were a perfect team, always there for each other.
