They have made jokes like this all along, especially Mikey, without even thinking twice. To them it was a little flirt, nothing more. So when you told them you were demi-sexual they first had to google what that is. After that, they felt so bad for making jokes like that. In fact, now they don't even see it as a joke anymore but felt like they seriously offended you. That was never their intention.
Whenever one of their brothers has his s/o over and something sexual is mentioned, they'd make sure you either didn't hear it or talk over them so you could focus on their voice only. They'd try to not get you into any embarrassing or awkward situations.
