The New Member Is A Girl?

A/N: I wanted to write a different reaction and one shot of you (Y/N) being introduced as the new member. It's probably going to be sad as I tend to enjoy writing sad things for some weird reason. Part 2 will be out soon as well :).

No One POV

You had been training in Big Hit for about 3 months now and you had been told you were debuting. 

You were also told that you would be debuting in a group that had already debuted and would be the 8th member.

That was what made this whole thing so nerve racking. You would have to deal with a large amount of hate.

But the reactions of the boys would either make or break you. You walked up to BTS's practice room and waited outside and started inhaling and exhaling. 

You then heard the boys talking and almost gave away you were here when you heard their conversation.

"An eighth member? I don't think we need him." You recognised Jimin's high pitched voice that seemed to be annoyed.

"I know right, apparently he's been trained for 3 months."

"What the fuck? Jungkook was trained for 3 years, there's no way he can be that good." 

"Honestly he'll just ruin our good family friendship." 

"Why did he have to add another member, he's probably weak anyways."

"Do you think he bribed him to join?"

"What if he's a saesang?"

You decided you had had enough. You were quite strong mentally and didn't cry easily. You knocked on the door and the chattering all stopped.

You heard shuffling and some footsteps coming towards your way and were faced with Rap Monster's face.

"Hi, how can we help you?" he asked kindly, which surprised you as you heard his very harsh tone just a few seconds ago.

"Um, Annyeonghaseyo, Y/N ibnida. Nice to meet you." you stuck your hand out for him to shake after you bowed.

He looked at your hand with confusion and hesitated at first, but grabbed it an shook it.

"Annyeonghaseyo Y/N, I'm guessing you know who we are?" he asked as you nodded.

"Dae Namjoon-ssi. May I come in, I have to talk to all of you." you said. Namjoon stood there wondering of he should trust you or not. He eventually let you in where all the members looked at you in confusion.

"Hyung who is this?" Jungkook asked with a face morphed into confusion.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Y/N ibnida. Nice to meet you." you bowed.

"Annyeonhaseyo Y/N-ssi." they all bowed as you took your seat on the ground where they were all seated in a circle.

"So what is it Y/N-ssi?" Hoseok asked you as you slightly smiled.

"Well, you may not believe me, but..." you sighed as they looked at you expectantly.

"Are you a new manager? I swear I told PD-Nim we didn't need any more. Aish that man." Jin said as you chuckled.

"No no no, I am not a manager or a part of your staff." you said.

"Then what are you here as?" Taehyung asked you.

"You may not, actually let me change that, you probably won't like this, but I am your group's...8th member." you said and looked at them. They all looked at you and began laughing.

"You? But why would they put a girl? It's BTS, bulletproof Boy Scouts, it's a boy group. Are you a saesang trying to fool us?" Suga said and you couldn't help feel a bit hurt from his choice of wording.

"Aniya, I am serious about this. Plus no one else knows about there being an 8th member apart for you and me, and PD-Nim." you raised a valid point as they looked at you before looking at each other.

"As much as we want to trust you, we have to check with PD-Nim." Jimin said as you nodded.

"Arraseo. Go ahead and call him." you told him as he got his phone out and dialled his number. He placed the phone on speaker mode as you all sat in silence while waiting for the phone to be picked up.

"Yeobosaeyo." he said.

"Hyung, we have a question about our new member." Jimin asked.

"Go ahead."

"Is our member by any chance a female?"

"Ah yes, did I not tell you?"

"Oh, no you didn't hyung. Anyways what is her name?"

"Y/F/N." he said.

"Arraseo, she came over and we thought she was a saesang." 

"Oh I should have come in with her to have avoided any misunderstandings. Mianhe." he said.

"It's okay hyung."

"I'll hang up then if that's all sorted."

"Dae, annyeong."

"Annyeong." he said and cut the phone.

"So you really are our 8th member huh?" Namjoon said as you nodded while looking at them.

"Dae Namjoon-ssi."

"Okay, let's go to the dorm for now as practice has ended." he deadpanned.

"Arraseo." you said and got up before heading into the van with the boys. It would be a lie if you said that the atmosphere was great. in fact it was the total opposite. Awkward. 

Once you got to the dorm, you all went in and the boys immediately went to do their own things. You saw Jungkook and Taehyung playing overwatch and wanted to play, but decided that watching would have to do for now.

You walked up and sat on the couch as they played when Jungkook spoke up.

"Why are you here?"

"Uh I just wanted to watch." you replied.

"Why, don't you have your own things to do?"

"Things?" you said confused.

"Things, duh, what else, are you stupid or what?" he said which surprised you. He surely was two faced.

"Uh, I'll me going now. I have to do stuff." you said and left.

"Aish I swear she is so annoying."

"I can't believe we have her as our 8th member."

"She hasn't worked hard enough."

"She's using us for fame."

"Why is she even here."

"She's just a talentless bitch."

"Yeah, I mean look at her. She doesn't look like someone who could sing, rap or dance."

"I don't know what went through hyung's head. We aren't getting nowhere with her."

"She's going to drag us down."

You weren't in your room yet but could hear their rude comments thrown in your direction. You couldn't do anything though. You had to act like you hadn't heard. You were hoping that time would fix things up for you.
