Because it hurts less
If I make them walk away
Than if they do that on their own
So yes
I will push you away
I will give you reasons to leave
But don't think I don't care
I do care
I care enough to make you realize
I'm not the right person for you
I'm not the right friend
I'm not the right companion
So walk away
Don't hesitate
It'll tear me apart
But at least it'd hurt less
Than you walking out on your own
