It's 4am
I'm wide awake
Tossing and turning to catch some sleep
But it seems like
I won't get any tonight
My thoughts are running wild
I can't catch up to them
I lay here at 4am
And the only thing in my mind
Is you
Nothing but you
Why is it that I always think of you
I wonder if I'm on your mind
Because it wouldn't be fair
If I'm the only one thinking of my lover
But again you never loved me
Is it bad
That I lay here at 4am
Wishing that you'd come back to me
Wishing that you were still mine
After everything you did to me
I still wish you'd come back
Saying, "babe I'm joking, I love you"
Promising that you won't leave me again
Is it bad
That I would forgive you if you came back
Have I finally gone insane?
Wishing that my love would come back to me
After everything he's done
After the pain he's caused
So I lay here at 4am
And the only thought in my mind is you
