When I was at my lowest
You held my head up
Told me to
Not 'make the monsters win'
You kissed me and whispered
'Go get 'em princess'
You were what made me strong
You saved me from my darkness
I hadn't realized
That I was dependent on you
I needed you
I yearned for your touch
Your eyes on me
To be the only thought in your mind
But you drifted away
You left me stranded
Needing my other half
While I withered away
