One moment I'm happy
The next I'm not
I'm on a roller coaster
And you'll never know
What it feels like to be so high
Then fall so low
It hurts
I try to push the pain aside
But loneliness seeps through me
I'm alone
In a huge world
A huge universe
That is ready to devour me alive
I want the hurting to stop
But then I'm afraid if it did stop
I wouldn't recognize myself
I wouldn't know how to live
For pain is home to me now
I wouldn't know myself
If the hurting stopped
