A/N- wow I've had a sudden urge to write this book so many chapters coming! (Already wrote 2 others today!) this may be because I MET NOAH TWO DAYS AGO AT STRANGER CON! It She was amazing and he was so sweet. We hugged a few times and He was so nice to everyone and acted as if we were all friends. I love that boy

The words rang in my head for the next minute. My face turned bright red as Noah's car drove away. Of course he liked me. Of course Sadie and Millie were right all along. All the gestures, compliments, hugs, they all meant something. That jerk.
I know what you're thinking. "But Paige, you like him too! Go find him and date him!" But it's not that easy. Now i see why he didn't ask me out earlier or at least tell me. If i was playing any other character, it would be perfectly fine, but I have to kiss him pretty soon.
My Aunt came to pick me up a few minutes later, and I wasn't planning on talking to her about this. Not before I talked to Noah. "How was rehearsal?" She asked.
"Good," I smiled fakely...I think...Maybe it was fake, but maybe I was actually happy that Noah told me. I couldn't help but feel a warm feeling when I remembered him hugging me and whispering in my ear. It just seemed like the perfect situation. But still, I sort of wish it didn't happen. As soon as I got home I went to my phone. I unlocked it, and went to text Noah.

Me: hey can we talk
Noah Schnapp😊✈️: sure
Me: i didn't know
Noah Schnapp😊✈️: really?
Me: yes
Noah Schnapp😊✈️: you're serious? This isn't a joke?
Me: it's not a joke
Noah Schnapp😊✈️: oh. Wow
Me: well what did u except me to think? You knew I like you! Why didn't u tell me earlier?
Noah Schnapp😊✈️: i don't know. I guess i thought you knew and it wasn't necessary to tell you
Me: why would i know?

Me: well i just met you. I thought you were just being friendly

I guess i started liking you when we texted for the first time after we got home

Probably when i met the whole cast

The truth is I was gonna tell you officially at the movie
but Hailey kinda ruined it

Noah Schnapp😊✈️: I'm really sorry to ruin everything but
I don't really wanna tell everybody yet if that's ok
I wanna at least wait until after the kissing scene
They'll never give it up if we tell them now

But is it ok if i tell Sadie? I've been talking to her about this for a while

Me: what??
Noah Schnapp😊✈️: i told her i like you the first day before you got here
Me: omg Sadie never told me that!

After talking to Noah, I realized that I wasn't mad at him. Actually, maybe this would make the kissing scene easier? At least now I know it wasn't just on my half. I read over our conversation and couldn't help feeling happy. Really really happy. Maybe now life wouldn't be as awkward anymore. Maybe now the Duffers would be able to see that "connection" that they were missing before. And to think, he's liked me longer than I've liked him... And Sadie knew!....

Sadie! I had to call her.

I grabbed my phone and dialed Sadie's number which I knew by heart. She answered within a few seconds. "NOAH TOLD ME!" She screamed.
"Really?" I exclaimed back.
"Yes! I'm so happy for you" she gushed.
"Aw thank you!" I said happily. "Why did you never tell me?" My tone changed suddenly to angry.
"He made me promise!" She apologized.
"I'm your best friend!" I argued. "You're supposed to tell me everything!"
"Well now you know!" She laughed. "And now my life is complete." I felt my phone buzz, but I ignored it because I wanted to keep talking to Sadie. It seemed like she got it too because she said, "one sec, text," and the call paused. She came back a few seconds later squealing. "NOAH INVITED YOU, ME, FINN, MILLIE, GATEN, AND CALEB TO WATCH A MOVIE AT HIS HOUSE TONIGHT!"
"Why are you yelling?" I laughed.
"Because you're gonna see Noah!" She laughed. I chuckled back.
"Well i gotta ask my Aunt if I can, so I'll be right back." I hung up and smiled. I know I acted cool on the phone but I was really really excited. I walked down the stairs and saw my Aunt on her laptop. "Hey Aunt Gia?" I started.
"Yeah?" She asked.
"Can i go over to Noah's tonight to watch a movie?"
"Sure, what time?" She asked. I turned on my phone and read the text.
"7? He's ordering pizza." She nodded then paused and turned around.
"Noah?" She smiled. I nodded embarrassed. "Ahhhh Paige!" She giggled.
"About that," I said. "I gotta tell you something." I then went on to tell her the whole story. How Noah told me at rehearsal, how we texted, and how great tonight is gonna be.
"Oh my gosh Paige! This is like a scene out of a movie!" Aunt Gia gushed. "And i have something to tell you." I looked at her confused. "You know that guy from work I was talking about?"
"Yeah," I said excitedly.
"Well, I was actually gonna leave you home alone tonight because...he asked me to go get dinner with him tonight...as a date."
"Oh my god!" I screamed. "Aunt Gia!" She laughed and hugged me.
"I guess we both get a happy ending."
