Jeremy's palms felt sweaty as he thought of telling Alexander the truth, he tried to think of the best way of saying 'I've been with the love of your life'; it didn't sound good. He hated having to show feelings, he usually just hid his emotions behind the fact he always had women by his side. That's why he and Kendra worked so well, when she got stressed out they had sex, and vica versa, Jeremy wished he could make her more than just his escape but he had too much pent up pain from years ago that at this point the best feeling was sex. He called her telling her he needed her, she said she was on her way within minutes. He sighed, at least he would have sex and his feelings would be gone for a while then he'd tell Alexander at the party which was tonight.

Alexander was taken aback by Jeremy's abrupt ending of their conversation but he was on cloud nine to even look into it. He was so ecstatic about finding out he wasn't the father he didn't even listen to the explanation he was just so happy. He went back inside where Destiny and Lynn sat,

"I know you're excited but screaming 'Fuck yes' and running outside wasn't the best way to respond" Lynn sassed gesturing with her eyes to the quiet Destiny as she ran her finger through the puddle of water left from her bottle of juice.

"I'm so sorry, I just got a bit too excited" Alexander blushed, all he could think about the excitement on Anabella's face when he finally told her, he couldn't wait to see her tonight. He had no intentions of going to that party, it was too formal, a stupid mascarade ball, sometimes he wished his family wasn't so eccentric. He drifted back to his seat prepared to listen to Destiny. They sat quietly and she heaved a heavy sigh before shook her head,

"I don't want either of you to feel bad for me" she started, "I had a boyfriend, we were together for 3 years, the best 3 years of my life everything was going great. We talked about having a family he was all for it, then I found out I was pregnant, I announced it to him at dinner a week before I met you." She gestured to Alexander, "He flipped out, went completely ballistic, he told me he couldn't have a child with me because I wasn't even his main girlfriend" she chuckled with a slanted smiled, "I was his side chick, he was actually engaged to the main girlfriend and they were planning their wedding. I wasn't working so I needed to get money, I knew Cherise through my cousin who said I could make a lot of money prostituting. I was so nervous, but then I saw you were white, I was hoping you'd give me a big payout to get rid of me especially since I found out about your girlfriend" tears pooled in her eyes, "I'm really sorry it got this far I truly am sorry, I just wanted to provide for my baby" she held her tears in as she stared at her lap relinquishing eye contact from their judging eyes,

"Destiny, we're very sorry that you were put through that" Lynn said, causing Destiny to look at her with a smile, but that smile soon faded away when Lynn continued, "I get it, it all makes sense, but you can't go around ruining relationships, my best friend has cried many tears because of you. You beat yourself up, you made false accusations, you could be charged for that bullshit. I get why you did it, but what you did is inexcusable, you've hurt a lot of people, especially Alexander and Anabella" Lynn was stern, she got up from her seat, "Look, it's fine you can continue to stay here, we'll take care of you right?" she asked Alexander,

"Of course, you're not a bad person you were just put in a bad position, I don't hold a grudge. I'm just glad this got all cleared up. I don't mind helping you, I could get you a job at the hotel. We're hiring" He smiled brightly at her who still had tears I her eyes,

"I'd like that" she whispered,

"Great. Well now that's this is all cleared up" he shoved his chair back and stretched, "I gotta go win my girl back" he patted Destiny on the shoulder before he headed out to buy a mask for the party.

The hours passed quickly Alexander and Michael sat in the living room waiting on Lynn and Destiny to dress. It was Destiny's first time going to an event like this and they wanted it to be special since she was down for the entire day about telling them the truth.
