Daddy's New Associate

Chapter 9

Alexander sat in his office forcing every thought of her away, as his father said he can't have feelings for her already, but unfortunately for him he did. He needed to focus on the hotel and the merge and not her. His mind was finally clear of her and he went through the expenses for the party, when a notification sounded from the laptop in front of him confirming the flower delivery to her.

Just when I thought she was out of my mind.

Alexander quickly got back to work drowning himself completely in everything anti-Anabella. Jeremy rolled into the office and Alexander looked up from the computer,

"Yo fam, you know how long you been working?" Jeremy asked in his work attire, a navy blue shirt with a bow tie around his neck, Alexander glanced at the time it was 3:15 pm,

"Shit"

"Yeaa. Wait how comes you not following you know who?" Jeremy asked getting comfortable on the olive green couch Alexander's mother picked out,

"I don't feel like today" Alexander said,

"Right right. So the flowers?" he said cocking an eyebrow at him sarcastically,

"How do you know?" Alexander's face became flushed,

"You need not to do that when I'm around" Jeremy frowned at him blushing, and he chuckled at his friend's expression "I was up on the roof top today, Eddie told me you requested the bottle, then I saw a delivery boy and I put that shit together" Jeremy explained,

"I know this is too early, but I might just-" Alexander stopped as Jeremy nodded,

"I knew this would happen, trying to act all macho talking 'bout you don't trust women. Just think of it this way, you haven't been with a woman for a long time and because she's there that's why you feel that way" Jeremy concluded. Jeremy was more of a ladies man, he had probably slept with all the women on staff the only ones he haven't slept with are nonexistent anything that was close to being with one woman Jeremy frowned on.

"I guess you're right I just need another woman to get my mind off of her"

"So you tryna say you coming with me tonight?" Jeremy grinned.

Anabella was being scolded from her mother who still was going on a rampage about last night,

"And you couldn't have at least once thought 'Maybe my family is looking for me I should say something?'" she argued as she paced Anabella's room,

"I was there the whole time"

"You disappeared after the lights went off and you think I wouldn't go crazy? You need to remember so many people know you, there is no telling what someone would do to you to get to us" she sighed,

"I know, I know. It's just we met before and I didn't think he would do me anything, he's really nice, he sent me flowers" Anabella tried to convince her,

"Just be safe for me okay?" she asked giving Ana a hug,

"I promise"

"And don't forget your responsibilities, he might be the nicest guy but make sure he got your best interest at heart" she smiled and Anabella kissed her on the cheek.

Her mother left and she enjoyed the rest of her lazy Saturday climbing into bed with a big bag of 'Smartfood Popcorn' she loved white cheddar, and she put on a grey over sized T shirt and went out into the living room to watch a movie.

Alexander and Jeremy were on their way to a house party in St.Phillip, Jeremy was invited by one of his many female friends and he thought it would do Alexander some good to get his mind completely away from her and of course by getting into a girls pants.
