Destiny laid in bed next to Alexander, her mind kept replaying the last thing he said before he went to sleep, 'I'm glad we don't have that problem'. Alexander slept peacefully while Destiny's guilt chipped away at her soul. The only sound she could hear was his breathing and her heart thumping against her ribcage. His arm rested heavily on her side as she stared at the clock on the side table, 5:57 A.M. it read as the two dots in the middle flashed. She sighed she couldn't pretend any longer, she wanted this to work out but her conscience was eating at her. She sat on the edge of the bed and glanced at him over her shoulder, Alexander snuggled back into bed with his arms sprawled in her now empty space. She just needed a moment, everything would be fine.

She left the bedroom going to the kitchen, the light morning sun seeped into the apartment. She dragged the fridge door open, the orange light from it illuminated the floor as it reflexed off the tiles. She grabbed an orange and a bottle of lemonade, she sat at the table peeling it with her nails. She sat trying to clear her mind, Alexander was the sweetest to her, he even broke up with Anabella to be with her and their child; it was noble. She wished she had an ounce of the amount of integrity he had. She groaned rubbing her temples, she needed to relax.

Lynn laid in bed on a video call with Michael,

"Hey baby" she grinned looking at his sweat covered forehead,

"I miss you," he said,

"I didn't hear you" she rolled her eyes, she wanted him to say it louder,

"I miss you dammit!" she giggled,

"I miss you too"

"I hope this works because I need to sleep next to you. Sleeping by Aiden was the worst his house is so hot and the mosquitoes were buzzing in my ear the entire night" he complained,

"Aww, my poor baby, I'm about to do part two of this plan wish me luck" she peeped through the door and saw Destiny sitting by the dining table. Lynn rummaged around in the bedroom looking for eye drops, she couldn't find any but she needed to cry so she'd be believable. She looked at her closet's door, she groaned,

"Anabella better forgive me" she bit her lip as she placed her hand in the door as she braced for impact. Lynn slammed the door against her fingers and she pains shot through her body, she bit down on the inside of her bottom lip as she released a muffled groan. Her fingers pulsed,

"Shit!" she cursed, at the pain, she winced trying to shake the pain away. She walked around the room trying to work the pain out, she wasn't crying. She paced around the room, cursing herself mentally, she couldn't believe she thought that would work. When she spun around she hit her toe on the edge of the bed bending back her little toe, a high pitched shriek escaped her she tears began to flow down her cheeks.

She limped out of the bedroom, keeping up the tears when Destiny spun around to look at her. Lyn ruffled her hair and her clothing as she went over to Destiny. Her toe still pulsated and it fuelled her tears,

"Good" she sniffled "morning" she wiped her eyes taking a seat,

"Oh Lynn, I'm so sorry" Destiny comforted as Lynn sniffled dramatically sucking down a deep breathe,

"It's just so hard, I swore he was the father" she mumbled

"I don't know what to say"

"I just wanted a family" Lynn started to cry hysterically, Destiny swallowed hard watching her. Alexander came out of the bedroom, "I can't be a single mother, I'm not cut out for that job. I'm not a strong woman"

"Good morning" he uttered noticing the mood, "How are you feeling" he comforted Lynn, joining them at the table,

"I feel so stupid" she sniffled, "Is wanting a family so bad?"

"We're your family" Alexander replied taking Destiny's hand,

"You guys are the sweetest, I'm glad you accept me" Lynn batted her teary eyes at them. Destiny's eyes darted between Lynn and Alexander. She shoved the chair back,

"Omg, I cant take it!" they looked shocked at her outburst, "You're not my baby's father" she dropped back in the chair feeling like a weight was taken off her shoulders.

Anabella laid on the couch awkwardly looking at Jeremy between her raised legs, they both were completely mortified,

"I'm so sorry" he blinked wildly looking at her in the compromising position "I should go," he said and she nodded as he bolted from in front of her. She heard the door close soon after leaving her alone. Anabella lowered her legs slowly, she couldn't believe they did that, she couldn't believe she did that with his best friend; she felt disgusting. Alexander didn't deserve that, even though he was with Destiny, she shouldn't have done that. She hugged her body as she curled into a ball.

Jeremy left the hotel quickly he held his head as he thought about the situation he found himself, he laid in bed the next morning still trying to process it all. I have to tell him now, he thought, as if it were planned Alexander called him,

"Hello," he mumbled as he answered,

"Hey! I got this best fucking news" Alexander's happiness radiated through the phone,

"I got something-"

"The baby isn't mine!" he shouted,

"That's great" Jeremy wanted to be happy but he felt if he told Alexander what they did it would completely ruin everything,

"So what were you saying? How was the talk with Ana?"

"Well, it-uh" he stammered, "It went great, she doesn't know but she definitely willing" he lied, face palming,

"Thanks, I'm so happy I could finally get my life back." Alexander sighed, "I know we haven't been talking that much but, I'm glad we're friends" Jeremy frowned, scratching his head, "So hows everything your side, how are the ladies?" at the mention of other women Jeremy began to sweat. It was as if he knew of what he did with Anabella, he was just taunting him. His mouth opened and closed a couple of times unsure of what to say.

"Alexander-I" Jeremy started, he was about to tell him when he realized it really wasn't the time "I gotta go" he hung up quickly dropping the phone next to him in the bed. Jeremy laid there feeling disgusted with himself. Not once in his entire life he felt guilty about being with a woman, Anabella was out of bounds, and yet he still did it either way. He closed his eyes and he saw her, her eyes which seemed to pull him in deeper into the moment, he knew it was all his imagination. She was vulnerable, she was at a low place, he just made it worse by being there.
