As they days went by Anabella and Alexander were struggling to keep their hands off of each other, Anabella moved back to the hotel, just to spend time with Lynn, while Michael was working longer hours on a new building. Alexander was busy working on getting the official opening of Imperial Resorts with his father hot on his tall about Anabella, he assured Victor that he and Anabella were now a couple and there wasn't anything he had to worry about, but Victor didn't back down.
Alexander got the day off and the two weeks passed and he had to go back for his results. This time when he stepped into the doctor's office he was calm, he just wanted to see Anabella, he hadn't seen her in person in 2 weeks. It was killing him, and hopefully, if his results were what he thought they were he'd get to see a whole lot more of her.
"Alexander Hunter" the nurse shouted and he smiled, Alexander made his way into the Clorox infused room and took a seat as the AC swirled around him. He whipped out his phone to see a picture of Anabella kissing Lynn's stomach, she was so excited for this baby, probably more than it's parents.
He chuckled before replying,
Alexander: At the Doctor's office
Anabella: I hope it goes well
He nodded his agreement shoving his phone back in his pocket as Dr. Webster waltzed into the room with a broad smile,
"Alexander, how are you doing?" he greeted,
"I'm great actually" he quipped as he took a seat in his chair, "And I hope you could make me better" he said with a smile, Dr. Webester glanced at him before nodding,
"Well let's see what we have" he pulled out the file, glancing over the information. He peered at him over his glasses, Alexander sat impatiently, leaning forward anxiously,
"Well" Dr. Webster spoke and Alexander was hanging on his words.
Anabella was sprawled across her living room floor on the fluffy rug while Lynn was curled up on the couch next to Zerah who had become a close friend. Lynn was going to the doctor with Michael tomorrow to see how far along she was and she really couldn't wait to see her baby.
The ping of the microwave sounded and Zerah hopped from the couch going to the kitchen,
"Finally" she announced pulling the cheese dip from it. The girls had a large assortment of toppings for their nachos, from chives, onions, peppers, jalapenos, ground beef and shredded chicken. Lynn insisted she was craving nachos and it was what the baby wanted but they all knew she was lying.
"Boy or girl?" Lynn asked her friends,
"Boy"
"Girl"
Zerah and Anabella said simultaneously, they glared at each other and Lynn laughed looking at them,
"A baby girl, Zerah! What do you mean a boy?" Anabella asked as she shoved a chip into the dip glaring at Zerah,
"But baby boys are sooooo cute how could you not want a boy? I mean girls are, eh, but boys" Zerah gushed, they turned to Lynn, "what do you want?"
"Healthy" she shrugged, "Once it's healthy I'm good" they nodded at her statement, no matter what the baby was they were going to love it.
They sat around the table talking, Anabella was getting nervous, she didn't hear Alexander and was beginning to think the worse, she was about to grabbed her phone when Lynn snatched it from her grasp,
"Can you let the man breathe?"
"I wasn't going to message him" she blushed, she was nervous, and he was taking so long, she needed to know,
"Just give him a minute" Lynn assured her with a warm smile and she agreed. Unfortunately for Anabella, Alexander and Lynn had it all planned out, Alexander already got the results and was home making her lunch. He was going to prank her, nothing too serious, just a small prank. Lynn was keeping her busy while he set it up.
After another hour Lynn assured him he needed to call her, she was having an all-out panic attack, Anabella was turning red with fear, she was on the brink of tears when Lynn messaged him and told him to call now. Alexander wasted no time calling,
"Omg supposed he got in an accident and is somewhere in a ditch dead?" Anabella paced,
"Calm down Ana, he's probably fine" Zerah soothed while Lynn came running with her phone,
"Look he's calling" Anabella ripped the phone from Lynn clutches answering,
"Hello? Where are you?"
"Hey baby, can you come over? We have to talk" he said, and her heart plummeted, she knew something was wrong when he didn't call,
"Are you ok?" she whispered as Zerah averted her eyes, at what sounded to be a bad time,
"Uh, yea I'm fine but you should get here as soon as possible" he replied sounding worried,
"I'll leave now" she said quickly hanging up looking at her friends, "I don't think its good, I gotta go" she left so fast Zerah was actually worried until Lynn told her the plan and her worry faded.
Anabella couldn't believe how fast she got there, her heart was pounding, she was so filled with mixed emotions, her heart was in her throat, she feared the worse but yet she needed to know, just to settle her brain. She sat outside the house unsure what to do, her curiosity was screaming 'GOOOOO' while her heart was screaming 'RUNNN'.
Anabella swallowed hard, she needed to know, she promised herself whatever he said she wasn't going to treat him any different. She finally got out with her hands trembling, she was about to open the door, when it swung open, she froze at the sight of him.
Her eyes were glassy, as she looked up at him, her eyes didn't even go to his shirtless frame, just his eyes, through a few wild strands of his hair,
"Hi" he whispered and she almost lost it at just that word. Lynn told Alexander he shouldn't go through with the prank and he could see why she was so close to tears, he needed to tell her fast before she passed out on his step.
He grabbed her hand and dragged her inside, her palms were cold, and he wondered how he could think of pranking her with something so serious,
"Ana?" he said as they sat on the couch, she just looked at him, "I'm sorry I took so long to call or anything I'm stupid, I'm free of everything, I have no STDs, STIs, whatever you wanna call them I'm all negative, I could show you the paper" he said going to get the paper.
Anabella's face lifted, she couldn't believe what he was saying,
"You're negative for everything?" she asked happily, causing him to turn back to her who now on the couch happily,
"Yea I am" he laughed out, her face actually made him feel better, she hopped from the couch giving him the searing kiss she had been holding back for days.
