Be careful how hard on your self you are. You're human and you will mess up all the time, you can't hold yourself to Jesus' standard and then beat yourself up when you fall short. That doesn't mean you should try to do things perfectly, you shouldn't set the bar low for yourself and then say you're a great Christian because you haven't killed any one recently. It's not easy to find the right mixture of high standards and understanding failures. Sinning is not acceptable but it is going to happen to you everyday, ask God for forgiveness and try to do better. He doesn't ask you to be perfect but He does ask you to try and follow Him. You have to be able to forgive yourself when you make mistakes and sin because there is no way you can live up to God's standards. But that doesn't mean you should try to live like He did. Do your best to walk with God and follow all of His commandments. He gives complete forgiveness to anyone who asks for it and tries to do better the next day. You don't need to worry about sinning as long as you genuinely want to live the life He has prepared for you.
