Christianity isn't really a concept like most religions, it's a relationship with God. We try to explain Him to other people and of course they aren't interested because we explain Him like a concept. Think about how you would tell people about one of your friends, of course you wouldn't explain them as a concept. The Bible isn't some text book you study so you can learn the material, it's a biography about God. Naturally it doesn't tell us every little detail about God because a book can't explain everything about one person much less the all powerful creator of the universe. It's not something you can study and learn and it's not something that you can put half effort into. You need to build your relationship with God everyday by being with Him. Going to church is great but on your own you need to read the Bible, pray, and sit in God's presence to grow closer to Him. When you pray don't use a bunch of fancy words or a set structure of what to say, talk like you're talking to a friend. Tell Him about how your day went, where you messed up, what was good, who needs help, what you're worried about, that way you actually grow closer to God.
