Gentleness often gets overlooked. When most people think of gentleness they think weakness, being submissive, and never standing up for yourself. That is not what gentleness means at all. One way to think about it is quiet confidence. You don't need to let everyone know your accomplishments or be loud about trying to help someone. Gentleness is having confidence in yourself and not needing to flaunt it or fight with others about useless things. We all undervalue gentleness in a world that promotes being loud and obnoxious. If you're a loud person that doesn't mean you can't be gentle it's knowing when being gentle is needed and when it's fine to be the loudest person in the room. There is a time when a person needs someone to tell them the hard facts and there is a time when they need someone to be gentle with them to be there calm and comforting. Another way to think about gentleness is calm and comforting. Again it doesn't involve being one of the loudest people in the room it just requires you to be soothing and be at a person's side and help them through everything they're dealing with.
