God created everything to need rest. After He created everything God rested. He would have the Jewish people plant for six years and then not plant the seventh so they could produce crops the next year. When people go work out really hard they need more sleep afterward to give their body a break. Everything needs rest and yet we are arrogant enough to think that we'll be fine with our schedules packed. I'm doing stuff nearly every week day and weekend and Sunday typically becomes a homework day. However Sunday is supposed to be holy, set apart, it's supposed to be different than all your other days. Give yourself time to rest because you need it. Resting isn't being lazy, it's taking care of yourself. So take time out of everyday and sit in silence resting in God's presence. Intentionally walk away from the rest of the world and block out all the things everyone says you should be doing and stay in silence for a little while. You actually get more stuff done if you take time to rest and refocus versus when you're constantly busy. Resting in God's presence brings you closer to Him and fills you up with peace you can't find anywhere else.
