My Point of View:  
Hello fellas, I'm back! Sorry na kung masyado akong naging inactive pero don't worry I still keep on reading stories here kaya go lang ng go. Makalipas ang ilang buwan kong hibernation, ako ay nagbabalik with my review! 
So, let's get started!

Our Asymptotical Love Story is a prequel of I Love You since 1892. Sa mga nakabasa na nung istorya nila Juanito at Carmela, panigurado akong tinapos niyo rin ang istorya ng umiiyak. Pero itong istoryang ito, title pa lang alam mo na ang kahihinatnan pero kasi diba, umaasa pa din tayo sa happy ending kahit ipinamukha na sa atin na luhaan kang magbabasa. Pero dahil mga masokista tayo, tuloy pa din sa pagbabasa. Aamin na naman ako, kahit ako umaasa na magbabago ang ending pero hindi naman ako ang writer, diba? Oo. Pinili kong basahin ang prequel kasi curious ako. Malay ko ba na sasaktan lang din ako nito? The title itself tells what the story is all about, especially sa mga Math geek dyan! Pero since nagrereview ako, ibibigay ko ang ibig sabihin ng Asymptotic.

Asymptotic is a mathematical term that means a straight line and a curve that gets closer but not intersect. Tapos dadagdagan pa ng salitang LOVE. Eh di kayo na ang bahalang maghusga kung ano ang kwento at paano magtatapos.

"Katulad ng biglaang pagbuhos ng ulan nang hindi inaasahan, ang pagdating ng aking unang pagibig.."

I told myself na hindi na ako magbabasa pa ng ibang historical fiction kasi iba ang nagiging epekto sa akin. Pero heto na naman ako, nagpalamon ng hindi ko nalalaman and this time, WASAK.DUROG.SUGATAN na iniwan ang puso ko.

There are many questions in the story that needed an answer as the story goes by.

Anong meron sa libro? 
Muli bang mauulit ang nangyari sa nakaraan? Ngunit bakit at paano? 
Anong koneksyon meron si Nathan Abrantes at Aleeza Agcaoili? At si Fidel Montecarlos at Salome Aguantar?
Will the history repeats itself or keme lang. HAHAHA!

Madaming history na naibahagi si Author. I like how she put the citation and how she combined the fiction, romance and general history into one. She can easily connect the past into present effortlessly. Yung pinagisipan talaga to the point that every scene was detailed. Parang nanunuod ka lang ng pelikula pero ang twist, binabasa mo lang pala siya. Madali lang ung mga napipili niyang paraan para ipaliwanag ang kwento. Nagawa niya nga sa panahon nila Carmela at Juanito, sa panahon pa kaya nila Fidel at Salome?I admired how she used her characters in the story. Each character has their own purpose in the story, ika nga nila. Wala ni kahit isa sa kanila ang naging palamuti lang. Madaming karakter na sa sobrang dami, ung iba ay hindi mo na maalala kung saan ba sila ipinakita sa istorya. Pero sa totoo lang, lahat sila ay may sariling kwento na karugtong sa tunay na kwento. Madaming pangalan na kailangan mong alalahanin kasi bawat isa ay may sariling istorya at papel.

Gusto ko ung paraan niya nang pagsasama ng dalawang istorya sa iisang istorya. Sa mga natapos na basahin, you know what I mean :) Bakit? Kasi madami kang aabangan dahil kada-chapter ay iba ang istorya. Umiikot sa dalawang istorya na kapwa parehas ng emosyon ang binabato, sino ba naman hindi mababaliw doon diba? Kahit may mga oras na expected mo na ang mangyayari iba parin ung pakiramdam the moment na mangyari ung nasa isip mo.  Dito ko rin naranasan na magkaroon ng trust issue sa mga karakter sa istorya. Syempre, hindi naman mawawala ung mga kontrabida diba? Malapit na ako sa ending pero may trust issue pa din. HAHA! I never thought that those names has its own meaning and purpose on the story. Tulad na lang ng Salome -- kapayapaan at ang Aleeza -- kasiyahan, oh nag-spoil na ako nang kaunti ah. 

Ung mga kanta sa bawat istorya, besh! Tagos hanggang buto! Hindi ko na alam kung saan ako lulugar! Halo-halong emosyon na daig pa ang halo-halo ng Chowking. HAHAHA! waley! -_-

I remember the boy, but I don't remember the feeling anymore...
Pakisabi na lang na mahal ko siya. Di na baleng may mahal siyang iba!

Let's be serious here, every chapter has its own emotions to deliver. There are no chapters that I found boring since some of it is knowledgeable. History connects to fiction yet the real thought of the story is still there and the history preserved its story.

Twist and turns of the story are too unpredictable. To be honest, mas kakaiba pa siya sa istorya nila Juanito at Carmela. I accepted the fact that this story really broke my heart than their story. Ito ang istorya na sinasabihan ng isip ko ng "tama na!" kasi sobrang sakit na. Ay oh! Naging si John Llyod bigla! HAHAHA! K. Hindi siya fast-paced story because every chapter is a one step closer to the real plot of the story. Hindi minadali at hindi rin masyadong pinahaba. Every chapter is worth reading for.
In the middle of the story, I'm still hoping that their story will give justice to all the emotions I've felt while reading. Masokista kasi talaga ako. HAHAHA! May hawig yung plot ng story of ILYS1898 and OALS pero sobrang kaunti nga lang, kaya nga PREQUEL beshie! 

Nakakabaliw! Kung hindi mo alam ang kwento ni Juanito at Carmela, hindi ka magkakaroon ng ideya sa tunay na koneksyon ni Salome, Fidel, Esmeralda, Rolando, Nathan at Aleeza. Gusto ko na magwala sa totoo lang during the times I'm reading it kasi hindi ko alam kung ano na ba ang mangyayari at sino sila! HAHAHAHA! Baket ganun ung nangyayari at bakit parang may mga scenes na hindi mo maintindihan kung bakit umuulit. SPOIL PA MORE! HAHAHA!

Pero at the end of the story, I was definitely amazed at how the twists were delivered and how it ended up like that. MAGALING! I never thought na maiisip ng Author iyon. I never see it coming, kaya iba yung dating sa akin. The story itself is not just about the culture and history of the Philippines but pinaghalong Spanish era na may Chinese beliefs and Buddhism. Galing diba?

The author deserves a round of applause with a standing ovation due to her efforts in giving a glimpse of history in her own way. Sa totoo lang, madami akong nalaman regarding with our history sa kwentong ito. FACT and FICTION into one.

At ano nga ba ang mga numero na binibigyan kahulugan ng mga ito?

Basahin mo na ng malaman mo at ng hindi lang ako ang nakakaramdam ng ganito.
