The familiar scenery of the library was seen through my eyes. The books, neatly placed and a bunch of students studying.

One thing for sure is.. I didn't come here for studying.

I came here to see the librarian.

"Good morning miss (Name)."
Greeted the handsome librarian while smiling in front of me.

Oh how I loved that smile.
Well, not just that smile. But the neatly made hair and the short side bangs of his hazel locks.

His well built body, his pale skin, his amazing jawline, his nose and his Viridian eyes.

"What book is it today?" He asked, searching through a bunch of books near the counter.

I always read the books near the counter, because those books were what he read the most.

I want us to have a common interest together.

"I want to read that book you were reading last week." I told him.

He paused for a second, wondering what book that was.

"I read a lot of books.. which book is it?"
He asked.

"Uhmm.. whatever book you have?"

Deep down, I never really knew what he reads.

"Silly you. I have a lot of books here in my library." He said as he chuckled.

Now, I would like to ask him a question.

I never knew his name after all.
It kept me crazy for a while to know just to be honest.

"Ashton. But you can call me Ash."

My heart beat faster at a sudden pace.
I finally know his name.

"So.. Ash, what's your favorite genre?"

"Stuff like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and Game of thrones."

He likes popular books about fantasy huh..

While he showed me his books, one of them caught my eye.

It's cover had no title. It seemed much more like a notebook, but it had a hard cover. It was colored red.

What was it?

Curiosity went through me like a train.

But curiosity killed the cat.

I stopped myself. Should I really take that book?

I was tempted to do so and Ashton noticed it.

"I see you're looking at one of the books."

He doesn't seems to know which book I was staring at though.

"What's that book over there?"

I pointed over to a random book to distract him.

"Pride and Prejudice. Worth a read, if you like romance about rich families during the old times."

Ashton smirked a little.

"I've read that already. It was about some Darcy guy and some girl named Elizabeth."

I told him. He seemed impressed that I've read that already.

"Now, if you so choose, want to read from my collection?"

He took some of his books from his collection and placed it on his desk.

"That would be lovely. Thank you."

I gently took one without reading which book it was.

"That's Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 1 and 2. The last and final book."

He pointed out.

I've already watched the whole movie series already, so no thanks.

"Sorry. I took the wrong book. I'll take the first and ever book from the Percy Jackson series then.."

I gently took the book before proceeding to sit at a chair near him.

I softly laid myself down on the chair before giving him a wink.

He simply stared at me before going back to do his work.

Flirting technique's no longer working.

I began to pretend that I'm reading the book. Even if I was reading it while catching glimpses of him.

I stared at him pretending to read.

He didn't notice. Thank God.

But something was still on my mind. That book with a hard cover but no title.. what was it?

I decided to ask him.

I slowly walked over to his desk, while he only stared.

"Yes?" He asked in an innocent tone.

I returned the book to him.
While he gently took it with ease.

"What was that red book?"

I finally had the audacity to ask him what the heck that book was.

Achievement unlocked!

He slowly took it out from the shelf.

"This one?" He held it while asking me.

"Yeah. What is it?"

He opened the cover and showed me the empty first page.

Proves that the book was empty all along.

Ashton gently placed the book back on the shelf before replying.

"An empty book. It is of no common interest." He answered.

But who's to say it really is empty?
I'm going to sneak into the library at night to find out.
