Third Person's POV

"This whole place just completely creeps me out." Sakura said staring up at the giant first in front of her. "Aha, it should, they call it the forest of death, and soon you're going to find out why." Anko said almost sadistically. Now Naruto other was being an idiot or was trying to lighten the dark mood, as he mimicked her, "They call it the forest of death, and soon you're going to find out why," he had his hands on his hips was posting and was shaking his butt, "you're not going to scare me away. I can handle anything." Anko glared at him before speaking, "So, looks like we got ourself a tough guy." A kunai was thrown at Naruto, scarcely missing him, a thin line of blood appeared on Naruto's cheek. "You tough enough to handle this? You're not afraid are you?" Anko had clearly directed the kunai at him as she was now stood close behind the blonde haired boy, hand on his cheek.

Another kunai was in her hand as a person with long black hair had the previously thrown weapon wrapped in their tongue, holding it up to Anko. The grass ninja spoke, "I was just returning your knife." Anko smiled slightly, "Why thank you grass ninja." Anko's eyes found the ninja's as they stared intently at each other. Naruto by now was sweating bullets. Anko continued, "You know, I only really recommend standing this close behind me if you wish to meet a premature end." A sickening smile found its way to the grass ninja as they spoke, "My garden, with the sight of blood, and your blade slicing through my hair, I'm afraid I became just a little excited." Miyako analysed the grass ninja, nothing about their appearance was particularly fearsome, but the feeling she got when looking at them was enough to make her cautious. From beside her, miyako could hear Hinata whisper, "Naruto." Anko looked at the grass ninja, "Likewise," she looked around at all the genin before continuing, "seems like everyone here is quick tempered, must be something in the air. This is going to be fun."

After releasing Naruto, Anko explained how the genin would have to sign a consent form, explaining how any harm that would happen to them in the forest could not be held responsible to them. A stack of papers of which they had to read and sign was handed round. Some skimmed the sheets and just signed, while others read the whole booklet, making sure they weren't signing away their kidney.

Once their forms were signed, teams of three would go to the booth to collect a heaven or earth scroll. Once the team had it they could go to one of the forty four gates and wait.

Miyako's POV

"Come on!" Aina shouted to me once we got our scroll, a heaven scroll to be precise. "One second!" I shouted back. I jogged quickly to the person I wanted to talk to, Naru. he waved and smiled as I reached them, Sasuke remained unfazed, Sakura had a ghost of a smile on her face. "I just want to say good luck, to all of you. I mean, I know I'm not on your guys team but, even if you don't want to be, we're friends." Naru nodded his head, Sakura smiled and Sasuke scoffed, thats good enough. "Good luck Miya." Naru said as I walked away. I gave a thumbs up as I walked away.

"What took you so long?" Aina asked. I shrugged my shoulders and waited for the gate to open. As soon as it did, my team rushed in, heading in the general direction Naoki said people were. From my little grasp of ninja knowledge, I believe Naoki is a sensory ninja, they locate ninja's often by sensing their chakra.

An ear piercing scream made us come to an abrupt stop, they second exam had only just begun and people had already made moves, already attacked, already ahead of us. This scream in particular seemed so close, almost next to us. Trying to figure out who could had made such a noise I thought back to who was located next to us at the gate. My train of thought was stopped as I bumped into Aina. Apparently we had stopped. Luckily, she steadied herself before she fell. "Just do nothing." She said while glaring at me. I nodded feeling sightly scared.

I looked down at the three ninja Naoki had been able to locate, it was a team of three (of course), two boys and one girl, they appeared to be no older than Aina and Naoki. "We'll deal with this, you can just sit back and observe." Ain said as she stood up, I could tell it was directed at me. Naoki turned to me and mouthed a sorry, these two really belong together.

They jumped down to face the other team. "What scroll do you have?" Aina demanded, I sweat dropped, they have no reason to answer that. To my surprise, she received a response, "Earth." To this the boy who answered got a hit on the head, the girl of the group scolded him, "Shut up Renjiro, don't tell them this!" I face palmed, now we know his name. The two just began to have an argument, "Well Kaiyo, we need to know if they have the scroll we need." And now we know the girls name as well, the other boy hit them both on the head.

Several pillars of dirt shot up from the ground, I recognised them from my fight with Aina. Naoki ran across one, performing hand signs as he did, when he reached the end, he flung his arms forward, a strong wind following. A spilt in the ground had been created. The three were too focused on Naoki's attack Aina was able to use the head hunter jutsu, bringing Renjiro into the ground. The other boy retaliated by focusing chakra into his foot and kicking right next to his buried team mate, the ground split allowing him to escape. The two teams glared at each other, preparing to fight. Myself? I followed Aina's commands and did nothing, well except get my popcorn out.
