Where did my twin go?

"Thats definitely her!"

"Daddyy!" i yelled tackling my dad in a huge hug before he could even step into the house

" hi Sofie" my dad said chucking and hugging me back

" oh look my favorite person in the world is finally back" i heard lauren say from behind me and she too stepped forward to hug my dad

" hi kid, I missed you guys" my dad said hugging lauren as well. But once they pulled back my dad spotted my mom coming out of the kitchen and he totally ignored us and went up to her and picked her up in a hug

my mom and dad were never a normal married couple. they acted like teenagers. they even went on dates all the time. There was just this connection between them. I've never seen anybody look at a person with so much love like my mom and dad look at each other. I admire them. and envy them. They make me want to meet someone who would look at me the way my dad looks at my mom, that I'd love the way my mom loves my dad

" okay, I love you guys, but I'm out of here. don't really need to see that " Lauren said after noticing that my mom and dad were having a kind of heated make out session.

that's another thing about them, they dont care who is in the freaking room with them, if they want to make out they will make out

my dad just waved Lauren off not pulling away from the kiss so we took that as our cue and left the house, yelling a goodbye. I mean they haven't seen each other for a month they deserve some alone time.

Lauren and I just drove to the pier like we always do when we have nothing new to do. We walked along the beach talking about random things but when we reached the now broken pier, we saw a figure sitting on the sand staring at the ocean, smoking a cigarette

" Is that Sam?" i asked lauren

" it must be, I mean nobody but us knows this place. and we don't know anybody else who smokes" Lauren said staring at the girl.

She was wearing a black T-shirt, Grey jeans and a Grey beanie. we approached her softly

" what are you doing here? " i asked. Sam jumped a little and turned to us

" Dude you scared me" she said placing here hand on her chest

" I'm sorry, shouldn't you be in bed resting?" i asked sitting down next to her and Lauren did the same

" i should, but I don't like staying in bed and I don't like resting " she said shrugging her shoulder and taking a drag of her cigarette

" how does your head feel?" Lauren asked her looking at her sideways

" it's a bit better but it still stings a little. taking a shower this morning was a grusome battle" Sam said scrunching her face

" yeah I hope you get better soo-" i was cut off by my phone ringing. i got it out of my purse, mumbled an excuse me and answered my mom's call

" hi mom" i said down the phone

" hi sweetie, where are you?" my mom asked

" I'm down at the pier with lauren and Sam, why?" i asked

" i want you guys to come home for a while, and tell samantha to come along and that she's welcome to stay for dinner" my mom said but there was a weird thing about her voice. something I couldn't pinpoint

but i told Lauren and sam that my mom wants us home and drove back there anyway.

Once we were in our house i yelled to my mom and dad that we were home and they came out of the kitchen

" hi guys" my mom said approaching us with a smile
