Where did my twin go?

STOP!!!

Sam's POV

"where to now" max asked sofie once we were all in max's car.

" just go straight to the pier, I'll give you directions. Jenna said she would pick Taylor up and meet us there, Jared is going to come later" sofie replied from the back seat. A while later with sofie giving max directions we arrived at our destination. we walked through the beach going deeper till we were in an almost deserted place.

i guess this is where they call ' the pier' because there was a pier leading into the water but it looked pretty old. im guessing that's why there is nobody but us here

" this is our usual hangout, there aren't many people here and hanging out at cafes and malls is too boring" lauren said stopping next to me in front of the pier since I wandered around a bit taking in the place

" it's cool, definitely cooler than cafes and malls" i said glancing sideways at her

" I'm really glad you came to hang out with us today" she said a little shyly. and I had a weird urge to pinch her cheek.

what? she's adorable

" yeah me too, plus max was all up for it when he knew that jenna was coming aswell" i said now fully looking at her

" ooh i see max already has a crush" she said winking playfully

" yeah, but don't tell him I told you that" i said chuckling

" well do you, you know, have a c-crush? she said scratching the back of her neck and stuttering a little

do i have a crush? I don't fucking know! I havent had a crush in forever, and I know that I've been thinking about Lauren and that I find her cute and all that, but does that count as a crush?

" i think I might" i said smiling to myself a little

" Sam come check this out!!" i heard max yell behind me and I sighed but turned around

i walked up to him to find him kneeling down next to a starfish. He knows I have a weird obsession with starfish but damn did he really need to interrupt Lauren and I?

I knelt down as well inspecting the starfish when I heard people approaching

" what took you so long?" Lauren asked Jenna and Taylor as they were getting closer

" Taylor here wouldn't leave until the episode of Lilo and Stitch she was watching was over" Jenna said playfully punching rose's shoulder

i backed away when they were all speaking and started wandering around. This place is beautiful. The sun was making the sea look mesmerizing. i lit a cigarette and stepped on the pier and kept walking. I wanted to reach the end of it and just sit and watch the beautiful view. I kept walking and just when I was almost at the end I heard yelling behind me. i turned around to find Sofie, Lauren, Max, Jenna and Taylor all yelling at me to stop, waving their hands in the air. I didn't know what was wrong but I started walking in their direction anyway.

as I was walking back i felt something beneath my feet breaking. and I stumbled and fell down. The last thing I remembered was feeling excruciating pain in my head then falling into cold water.

Sofie's POV

in less than a second max was already in the water swimming towards Sam's body which was completely underwater.

The pier was extremely rickety. that's why none of us ever went on it. We just hung out on the beach next to it.

We saw her hit her head and that's when we all started freaking out. She's probably out cold right now. Max was swimming really fast towards her

" Fuck this" Lauren said taking her shirt off leaving her in only her bra and rushed to Sam as well. The rest of us just stood there freaking out.

A minute later Max and Lauren were dragging Sam out of the water. They layed her down on the beach but it was obvious that she was unconscious

" Sam, Come on, wake up!" Max said in despair pressing on her stomach trying to get the water out.

then I noticed blood on the beach underneath her head

" Shit, guys she's bleeding! " i said freaking out even more.

"Let's take her to a hospital" Lauren said frantically

" No, my house is closer. my mom is home, she'll know what to do" i said trying to pick Sam up by myself but failing miserably. because as small as she was, I was tiny as well.

" what could your mom do about this?!"Max asked me and it was clear on his face that he was close to tears

" She's a surgeon, Let's go!" i yelled at them because we were wasting precious time right then.

Max and Lauren being the strongest of all of us picked her up and we speeded to the car.

6 minutes later we rushed into my house with Lauren and Max holding a still unconscious Sam.

we stepped in and i yelled frantically out to my mom. She came out of the kitchen wiping her hands

" What happened?!" she asked concerned once she saw sam

" she went on the Pier and it broke down and she hit her head" i said quickly running my hand through my hair. nervous habit

" Lay her down on the couch while I get my kit" my mom said rushing into her study to get her kit.

seconds later she came back and started cleaning Sam's head and stitching it up. Once she was all done she somehow managed to wake sam up.

Sam groaned in pain when my mom injected something into her arm

" that will ease the pain, sweetie. how do you feel?" my mom asked Sam smoothing her wet and bloody hair with her hand

" like my head is being squished" Sam said still groaning in pain.

" we're going to take your wet clothes off and dress you in something dry till you feel good enough to take a shower alright?" my mom asked sam softly, and Sam just nodded then groaned again.

" go get something clean for her to wear sofie, while I take her wet shirt off" my mom said to me and I immediately started heading upstairs

once I was almost on the second step i heard my mom gasp loudly behind me. i turned around to find my mom staring wide eyes at Sam's stomach

i followed her line of vision to find nothing worth gasping and staring at. but then something on her side caught my eye

A birthmark. A stork bite on her side, it wasn't too big or anything. but the thing that made it weird is that she has a stork bite birthmark.

on her side.

Exactly like mine.
