JONGIN'S POV

Finally

I get to see Kyungsoo after so long, feels like forever.

Okay, it's been a week but I miss him so much.

Last time I saw him, I told him my family and I were moving to California. Right after he said he needed to leave.

Before I could stop him, he ran off. He was gone, I'm so stupid
I should have told him about my feelings.

But then my parents told me that my father's company had changed their mind. I was beyond happy.

I wanted to text Kyungsoo but I couldn't find my phone. I would have sent him a message through social media but he didn't have an account on any.

So here I am

The first day of junior year, I can't wait to find and ask him to be my boyfriend.

I'm in front of the school building and there's this really tall guy in front of me.
He's just standing there.

I pass him heading towards the gates.

Once I'm inside, I turn to the guy again and yup.
Still standing there.

What is he waiting for?

I'm curious so I'll watch and see where I am.

TEN FUCKING MINUTES!!!!

NOTHING!!!

I got beyond bored just staring at him doing nothing.

I'm surprised he didn't notice me.
He didn't move or change facial expression.
Just blinked

Ten minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Focus...... Oh yeah, find Kyungsoo.

I go to my locker first, just to see if I still remember the combination.

I go downstairs towards the vending machines to get munchies for class so I don't fall asleep.

I grab put the three bags of chips I purchased into my bag.

Someone behind me pokes my side.
I jump because I'm ticklish, and turn around to see my best friend; I missed him so much and thought I had to say goodbye a week ago.

Taemin smiles at me.

"Long time, no see", he says to me.

I smile at him and pull him into a hug.
He hugs back and so I lift him up and spin him around.

A lot of people mistake us for a couple but no, we're just friends.

We've been best friends since kindergarten.
And we will be friends for life.

That's a promise we made since the 3rd grade and I had told him I was gonna see him after high school when I thought I was moving to California.

So glad we can finish high school together though. After our hug, we shared we talked about what we did during the last month of our vacation.

He and his older brother, Jinki, went to Acapulco with their parents.
He also told me that Jinki is going to be a teacher assistant at our school.
