Chapter 12

Dianne's P.O.V.

"Let's go on a date."

One whole sentence that made my heart beat 2 times faster, I could feel my heart thumping, It made me think that I could hear my own heart beat.

He was way too close "W-What?" I asked

"Let's go on a date." He said and chuckled, repeating the sentence for me.

"W-What?"

"Aigoo, Lalisa Manoban, what's so hard about what I said? Let's go on a date." He said and scoffed at me, rolling his eyes

"Is he sick? What kind of illegal drugs did he take?" I whispered softly to myself

"I heard that." He said and narrowed his eyes at me, my eyes widened and I immediately looked away, focusing my eyes on my hands "No, I'm not on drugs, and what's so wrong about taking my wife out?"

I shook my head lightly "Nothing..."

"So it doesn't seem to be illegal does it? Hmm? Lalisa Manoban?" He said smiling, as though it was normal of him to act this way.

"Jungkook...can you stop calling me by that name? You do know that it has been years since people called me that, it's Dianne Manoban, not Lalisa Manoban." I said and sighed a little

I could see from my peripheral vision that his gaze was locked on me, he was staring at me intently, as though he was studying every move I made "I like calling you that name, there's nothing wrong with it and, its not Dianne Manoban, it's 전 Dianne or, 전리사."

"Once you start calling me that name, Jisoo and Rosé unnie will start asking me about it."

"Lisa, Lalisa, Lalice, Lily." He chuckled softly and all I could do was glare at him, then... he laughed

It's been so long since I last heard him laugh, it's been years, the only thing I hear from him are his mean insults, how I ruined his life, his anger, his frustrations and groans and scoffs. His laugh was something rare for my ears, something I haven't heard in a long time. I stared at him for a few seconds, a small smile running across my face "What?" He asked in between laughs

I pressed my lips gently together and shook my head lightly, I felt his soft hand land on mine, "About the date, is that a yes, or a no?" He murmured, although it was audible

'Why is he acting this way? Did I do something? Am I dreaming? Am I-- DEAD?! Wait- no no no, impossible, I just came from the hospital, that's impossible! I'm not dead, I didn't even get hit that hard. They just over reacted about it! But-- back to it, why is he acting like this?!?? This is such a rare scenario, and maybe a once in a life time thing! OMG.'

"Lisa?" He asked, tilting his head to face mine side ways, snapping his fingers at me as I shook my head slightly and looked up at him, clearly, I wasn't listening to anything he was saying, I was too busy with my own thoughts.

"You zoned ou--"

"Yes." I said and looked up at him "Let's go on a date."
