****ARIX POV****

Today was the day of new experiences, a water park, a water slide, and the weirdest of them all- love. I think I let myself admit during the kiss in the park that I was in love with the great Tony Stark. Isn’t it weird, how one moment you’re life is utterly unbearable and you are at moments edge…and then suddenly you meet your hero…and it all seems to piece back together?

Only a little while back I would’ve been scared to even look at a man after all my father tortured my memories with…and now, I was in the middle of a water part holding hands with a man eight or so years older than me. It was just…new. Weird. Awkward. The best thing that’s ever happened to me.

“Arix…Earth to thy Arix world?” I quaver out of my thoughts and look at Tony who had stopped and turned to me and was waving his hand in front of my face to bring me from my trance. I smile,

“Oh, sorry zoned off for a second.” I say as he puts his waving hand still by his side,

“Okay, hey do you want to do a few more things before we find something for lunch?” He asks as we walk past the wave pool, I nod-not knowing what else there was around here, letting Stark take the lead. “Hum, okay…there’s a cool river type ‘ride’ that we could try—I’ve never been on it…it could be fun; what do you say?” I look ahead in the direction he is pointing and nod,

“Looks fun to me.” I lie and he takes my hand, literally almost dragging me across the park to get in line. Luckily for us, only four people were ahead of us and they were in pairs-riding together. Sooner than I was hoping, we are mounting a tube for two and are pushed onto the ride.

“This is relaxing isn’t it Arix? Why are you shaking?” Before I could answer, we were almost flying down a decent sized man made waterfall and then set roughly back into the stream of the ride. Stark’s eyes were opened wide and his grip on my hand relaxed a bit. I giggle,

“I tried to warn you…” He blinked and smiles and shrugged,

“Psh scared- I wasn’t scared.” I raise my eyebrows at him,

“Stark, I never said you were.” He cleared his throat nervously and smiled,

“Ha….I know…” I rolled my eyes and scooted closer, so that I was sitting right next to him. Before anyone could even get a chance to look, we were being thrown down another one of those waterfalls and I shrieked—a mixture of fright and fun together.

“How long until we are done Stark?” I ask…not wanting to really go much further, for the fact my butt was really starting to get soar from bumping on the rock at the bottom of the weird ride. He smiled,

“C’mon, we can get off here—it’s the only exit before the ride ends.” I nod and we paddle with our hands, off to the side which contained a giant exit sign. We jumped out of the tube and I rubbed my bottom.

“Ouch.” I say as I touch a forming bruise, Stark just smiles and we continue to a vacant picnic table. I sit down carefully, not to irritate my soar butt. I wince as the wood sends an awkward yet painful sensation through my back side, but it soon numbs out and I am able to throw on a smile.

“So, it’s a bit early…but are you in any case hungry yet?” Stark asks, rubbing his loudly grumbling tummy. I give him a wink,

“No…but you are.” He blushes carelessly and smiles,

“I just need a snack and I’ll be set until noon.” I roll my eyes as he tells me to stay put and walks off to the pizza line…yes Stark a snack.

I watch as he juggles three large pieces of pizza and two sodas in his hands. I find it amusing as he tumbles over to the table and I quickly release his hands-taking the two drinks that could have possibly spilt all over my lap.
