Chapter Twenty Four

Akira's pov
We were all in the car driving to some restaurant we were supposed to be meeting shanti Travis ques and tiana. Apparently tiana and ques had something to tell us I wonder what's so important.

When the car stopped mazz unbuckled the twins.

"Mommy do they have chicken tenders?" Lexi asked as she hoped down from the car.

"Yea baby" I smiled at her as mazz shook his head at me smiling.

"What?" I asked him smirking.

"Nothing nothing" he said getting Michael out.

Lexi is a picky eater just like me and that's why mazz was smiling. But Michael eats everything just like mazz ironic right?

Lexi grabbed mazz's hand and started pulling him towards the entrance. And Michael grabbed my hand doing the same.

We when we walked in there were lots of people inside some of which recognized us and pointed.

"Finally y'all are here" I heard shanti say from beside me.

"Titi" both twins said running over to her. They tackled her almost making her making her fall me and mazz laughed.

"Y'all wanna be fashionably late and tiana won't tel us till everybody was here y'all know I don't like waiting" she said and we laughed again.

"Our bad" mazz said.

"Mhmm" she said.

She lead us to this table at the back of the restaurant and I saw everybody was there. The twins picked their seats and we sat down.

"Wassup bro" mazz said doing his handshake with Travis and ques.

"Nothing much man chillin" ques said leaning back in his chair.

The twins were talking about who knows what.

"Y'all already ordered?" I asked.

"Mhmm and we ordered for y'all to" tiana said.

I nodded. "Okay cool"

"Oh my god tell us the news already" shanti semi yelled catching the atttention of the people around us.

"Shhhh" Travis said laughing.

"Okay..." tiana started. Her and ques looked at each other.

"Uh...were adopting a child" he said. I smiled and Travis and mazz started yelling.

"Really!" I asked. They both nodded smiling at me.

"What does that mean?" Michael said. Everybody laughed.

"It means auntie T and uncle ques are gonna get a baby" I explained the twins looked at each other and then back at me.

"How?" Lexi asked.

"Uh...um.." I looked at mazz for help.

"They're gonna pick the baby up from the hospital" he said I sighed in relief.

"So it dosent go in her tummy?" Lexi asked.

Tiana shook her head no smiling.

"Is it a boy or a girl!!" Both twins asked.

"It's a girl her name is heaven and she is five years s old" ques answered.

"That's joe old we are" Michael said excitedly. I nodded.

"So she is our sister?" Lexi asked.

"No mama she is your cousin" shanti said.

Both twins nodded finished asking questions.

Later

The twins wanted to stay with ques and tiana so me and mazz decided to go see Brianna. This would be my first time seeing her since Sacramento.

"You sure you wanna come?" Mazz said grabbing my hand. I gave a small smile.

"Yea" I said.

He stopped the car and we both got out. He kept glancing at me nervously until we reached the door.

He knocked and squeezed my hand. Why is he so nervous? I should be the one having a panic attack right now.

She opened the door and frowned seeing me.

"The hell is she doing here?!?" She semi yelled.

"That's not the issues" mazz said holding my hand even tighter.

"Yes the fuck it is I don't want her around me or my child?!?" She semi yelled again.

"Yea that's the problem you and your child" mazz said. Briana raised an eyebrow at us.

"What do you mean" she said her tone lowering. She better tone down I thought.

"No doctors appointments no check ups no weight I don't think your pregnant" mazz said. I nodded my head in agreement. She looked away from us for a second.

"Leave get out of my house leave!" She yelled now angry. I shrugged pulling mazz along to the car. She slammed the door behind us.

Once we got in the car I couldn't help but laugh for some reason. mazz looked at me like I was crazy.

"What's so funny" he smiled starting the car.

"She tricked us...she really just played us I should've known" I said between laughs.

"So your Sure she's not pregnant?" He asked.

"Positive mazzi" I said kissing him on the cheek and laying back on the seat.i shook my head to my self she really had us fooled for a month that's a shame.
