A screechy sound of metal sliding back into motion ripped the two boys out of their kiss, the Ferris Wheel had started spinning again.

Carl leaned back a notch from his counterpart, his eye checking for any mutual emotions the blond had towards him, the side of his face flickered in warm red and cold blue tones and his hair swayed in the lights, single streaks visible in all detail

Ron was grown into the backrest, unable to move from the shock, at this point he wasn't even sure if he liked it. The atmosphere was pressing on him, forcing him to say something, anything, no matter how stupid and so he did, just to break the silence "I'll just assume this is a dream," he mumbled through the clump in his throat

"Good dream or nightmare?" Carl asked, frowning, and his hands searched for a place to rest on the blonds body. Insecurely falling from his scalp to his nape and wandering over his denim jacket.

"I really don't know"

The sky gained in distance as the trees closed in, getting bigger and bigger with the passenger car diving into a curve to downwards.

Carl took this last moment up in the air to do something before Sophia was able to spot them
"Can I-" He began, his question faded into the kiss he placed on the blond for a third time, frozen blue hands cupped around the blonds flushed cheeks, grasping for the warmth of them, stroking him with lightly applied finger movements. Ron's hands white-knuckled the metal seat, tensing from the mouth on mouth sensation

Carl leaned back, studying the blond again "Nightmare," he spat, thumbing back to his own place on the bank again and staring at his now balled into fists hands, jaw clenching

A harsh jolt and the Ferris wheel came to a halt, the boys shuddered forward from the sudden stop, taking in a moment to find themselves and Carl was the first one to stand up, looking at his seat to check if he had forgotten something. Ron grabbed the sleeve of his flannel,

"I didn't mean it like that... I just" He bit his lips as Carl's eye stared holes into him "I didn't want it to happen when we're drunk"

Carl grabbed the forearm of the blond which was still holding onto his black flannel with blue stripes, and pulled him up with one swift motion which baffled Ron and a noise left his throat that Carl must've mistaken as an invitation for another kiss, but as he leaned forward, Ron leaned backward, shaking his head.
"I said no! Not when we are drunk.." Ron started panicking now and resolutely pushed the other boy away from him to keep him at bay. No matter how pleasant those lips, drunk they didn't count.

They hadn't noticed that Sophia had stepped to the passenger carriage and unlatched the door for them, eyeing them without lifting a word about the tension between them "Had a nice ride? I notice that you enjoyed it" As she smiled, Ron froze, thinking she saw what they did but he relaxed again when she continued "The view must be fantastic up there, trees must look like tiny, cute broccoli heads" she intervened both of her hands and held them against her cheek in awe.

Carl cleared his throat and slinked behind Ron, away from the passenger door with his head down as if he was cold even though it was a bearable temperature with spare blows of cool wind

Ron's gaze swept from Sophia to their surroundings and his breath stocked, eyes widened.
"Where did those people come from?!"

Carl looked up, equally as confused now. Sophia answered with a slight smile "We assume that the lights beckoned them here"

"We?" Ron asked, looking back at the girl who pointed at the barkeeper who was still cleaning glasses with his towel. But, it seemed like he had gotten a new one, because this one had a fresh white colour, fluffed up material of microfiber.
