"And that is why Macbeth is such an important piece when is comes to the psychological effects of political ambition." Professor Smith lectured as many students, including myself, scurried to copy the notes of the large projector.
I blew a piece of platinum blonde hair away from my face then, bit my lip trying to not only focus on his important words but also copy the necessary notes. I sighed putting my pen down and scanned the room in front of me. I sat dead center of the cream colored auditorium. There were many kids who were either struggling to keep up, or just gave up and had their heads tucked away into their folded arms.
I cracked my knuckles lazily as I thought of the planned day ahead of me and let out a soft groan. Right after this lecture, I had a business class, something I never thought I'd actually enjoy. Then right after that, I have to head to work at the college library. Again, not something I envisioned myself doing but then again, I've done a lot of things that I never envisioned myself doing in my life.
My phone vibrated in my pocket, quickly fishing it out trying not to draw attention to myself, I smile once seeing the message light up on my screen.
