Christmas

Christmas was a massive occasion for the Johnston/Drake clan. My grandfather got to pulling out all the the trees and decorations from the basement with Auberon. Castillo was showing his girlfriend Rebecca around. Grandma was cooking food for tonight and tomorrow, mother was baking all sorts of treats for dessert with the help of Aurora and Cheryl. Cheryl who had been invited by my mother. Luke and Orion were with dad getting wood for the fire. I was sitting on a log by the frozen river with Alkira. Caspian and Olivia were inside up in there rooms. "So you back" she sighs "seems everyone wanted to ask they question but couldn't...then again you were always blunt" I smile "got that from my dad also Auberon" "you guys did fight like a house on fire" I take a deep breath "I'm going to stop beating around the bush did you ever" she shakes her head "every time I close my eyes I see my sister begging for help watching what they did" "same only difference is I had to live with the learn to not jump every time I saw them" "how are they" I sigh "fine they pretty much only have Aurora as everyone else" "was there" I nod "but were trying...that's all we can do" "they don't know who the girls" she smiles "only me Mum and dad" "you know Bell is coming my parents invited her" I nod "there are so many stories the truth will never be believed" "us till the end after all we been through to much" smiling "sure Nikolai was scared but he never saw" "Where is he" "he had court he's arriving tonight" she smiles "he back a lawyer after everything and where we were raised" "probably the best one out of all of us and his a student" "What's Cass doing" "um he spend his time with Rebecca but he is a policeman or is qualified to be I don't think he is one in Riverdale I know he was in New York" "what about the other" "um Luke is qualified in child care and also and a teacher but he works full time at the cafe as a manager...Orion does work for the serpents working at the Whyte Wyrm and doing other dodge stuff...Auberon just sits at home although judging by how mother is treating him his problem going to work at the cafe...Aurora goes to school...and I'm pregnant" I heard her gasp and that's when I realise what I said "tell me everything" so I did I start telling. I start from the very beginning. From tutoring Jason, to falling in love with him and Cheryl becoming like another family. I told her about the bliss and happiness. How my family was complicated but fun. How Jason and I got into a fight after having sex leaving highly emotional and craving alcohol. Which led to how I slept with both Malachai and Sweet Pea. Which leds us to now four months pregnant and no one to love me.

We were all about to sit around the table to eat Christmas Eve dinner my mother and grandmother were just placing the dishes on the table. "Who's this" we all look over at the photos.

"That is" Aurora went to answer "my daughter Emerald" Castillo immediately said "and that little boy is mine" Luke said walking in with a one year old boy in his arms. "Lulu" I laugh taking him in my arms "Why isn't Emerald here" I sigh "she will be tomorrow" I walk into the room. Sitting down with the little one on my lap moving him so he wasn't hurting my small stomach. "Well before we begin I feel the need to tell everyone I'm pregnant although most already knew" I look around drinking my apple juice that was in a wine glass. I could hear my grandparents choke and Cheryl was sharing at me shocked.
