Being with Ming help me forget the ongoing problem that I have with my father. I knew he's feeling guilty for whatever happens back then even without him saying anything that I have to remind him every single day how worthy he is as my other half. I've been very busy at work that I rarely have time to think about anything aside from my patients and Mingkwan.

"Dr.Kittinan Intochar, please proceed to the nurse station 1"

I frowned when I heard my name being blasted at the whole East Wing. I'm on my 16th hour of hospital duty since yesterday because I had to cover for someone else's shift. I left the records I was working on while I rushed myself to Nurse Station 1. I froze from where I was standing at, when I saw P'Nick waiting for me.

"What are you doing here P'Nick?"

P'Nick just smiled as he glances at his watch then return his gaze to me. I was confused as to why he is here right now when I didn't expect to see anyone from my family side to be here.

"Do you have a spare time for like 5-10 minutes? I know you're busy but I just wanted us to talk."

I checked my phone as I reviewed the schedule and other endorsement that I have for the day but most of them had to do with the reports I've been working on since last night so I guess a 5 minutes' break won't hurt, right?

"That's fine, but I can't stay longer than that, I have critical patients I need to attend to." I replied as I lead him to the other side of the building where the open lagoon is located. I sat on one of the benches as I waited for him to talk

"How are you Kit?" P'Nick ask while looking at me

I sighed as I leaned on the bench I was sitting at and look up meeting his gaze

"Seriously, P'Nick? Did you come all the way here just to ask me if I'm okay? Are you here because my brother ordered you to follow me around again?" I ask while looking at him

P' Nick chuckled as he took the seat beside me and shake his head "Why can't I say my regards to you without you judging me?" He asks

I shake my head as I look away and sighed "Because you always listen to my brother even if he's being unreasonable and its hella annoying!" I exclaimed

"well this time, let me tell you that he doesn't know that I'm here. I was just really visiting you. I got confused with what you've said the last time you went home." P' Nick replied.

I remembered telling him not to mind me and to take care of my family for me before leaving the mansion with Ming. I sighed when I remembered how annoyed I was during that time

"I heard from your brother that you had an argument with your Father. He even asks me to run after you and bring you back to say you're sorry. I ended up snapping at him." P' Nick stated surprising me with what he just said

"You did? But why?" I ask in shock

P'Nick smiled and leaned on his seat "Let's just say that I admire you for being brave and for not backing down  what you feel. Why would I force you to go back and pretend to be someone you're not? Kieng is hard headed just like you but he never expresses his feelings openly. I refused talking to him for like 3 days." He answered

I laughed from the information I got from P' Nick. Him being the most trusted person in his team snapping at my brother – his boss, is just too funny. They've been friends for so long that it's hard to imagine them not talking or anything.

"How are you coping up?" P'Nick asks

"Well aside from all my bank accounts being on hold and useless, I think I am good. I have a rich boyfriend to support me anyway." I replied while smiling. I chuckled when I remember Mingkwan's reaction when I told him that my bank accounts were frozen a week ago, he just found his purpose.
