Bonnie walked inside the house with a grimoire to her chest as Athena could feel the witches energy through the door. The girl stayed in her seat as she blinked a few times and looked over the dark skinned girl. She dropped the book on the table and ran up to the girl a pulled her into a hug. Athena sniffled and put her face in the crook of Bonnie's neck. "I missed you so much. You have no idea what it's been like without you, god without even Damon." She mumbled and the girl could hear the slight fear in her voice.
"Bonnie, what happened?" She asked and the girl bit her bottom lip.
"You're not going to like it." She mumbled and the girl furrowed her eyebrows.
"Katherine killed Caroline." She stated and Athena got up instantly only for Bonnie to pull her back down. "While Damon's blood was in her system." She whispered an realization hit her.
Athena gasped and looked over Bonnie. "She's a, she's a vampire." She stuttered and the girl nods her head.
"Yes, but she's been doing well with her hunger. Stefan's been teaching her." She told her and the girl rolled her eyes.
"Stefan should not be the one to teach someone hunger issues." She muttered under her breath, only for Bonnie not to hear.
"So, can you tell me what happened over in Scotland?" She asked and Athena sighed.
"My mother died, and I unleashed these new powers. Bonnie they are not good." She told her and Bonnie rolled her eyes not understanding how bad the predicament is.
"It's not that bad." She stated and grabbed onto her hand and she gasped as darkness invaded her mind. She shivered at the cold that rush down her spine and she pulled away in fear.
"A-Athena." She broke out and shook her head.
"Bonnie, please, I know it's bad, but I need your help to control it." She told her and Bonnie shook her head.
"I can't control that." She mumbled and she got up as the girl got up with her.
"You can! You're just too scared to!" She yelled and Bonnie turned around while laughing humorlessly.
"I saw what is going to happen to you, Athena. You're going to die. With that much power it's not natural. The Earth will restore itself by somehow killing you. That may even mean that you implode." She stated hysterically and tears filled in her eyes.
Athena shook her head and grabbed Bonnie before she could leave. "Don't leave me!" She yelled and Bonnie bit her lip.
"I don't want to help, because I don't want to see my best friend die." She told her and then walked out of the house as Athena sobbed.
She held her hand to her face and sat on the couch in sadness. 'Athena.' The voice taunted in her head.
'Athena.'
She sniffled and looked in the mirror to see Ron. 'If you want to live, let us help you.' He stated and the girl shook her head.
"Never!" She screamed and the mirror shattered as she gasped and looked down at her hands in terror of herself.
