The two sisters walked together towards the girl's mansion with smiles on their faces and laughs filling the air as the vampire was trudging behind them, feeling his throat constrict with hunger. He hadn't eaten anything since before the car ride and two days with no blood was killing him. As they reached the giant building, Damon forgot about his hunger for a moment and went in awe. The building was pure stone that as smooth and white with silver and green highlights. Eden could see Damon's face and slightly giggled. "Welcome Granger and Salvatore to my house." She told them as she walked inside the house and Athena pulled on Damon's arm.
"You alright?" She asked and he looked over her and then down at her mark he had given her.
"I-I'm fine." He mumbled and she furrowed her eyebrows as she just drops it and walks inside the house and Damon waits patiently for Eden to invite him in.
"You may come in." She told him and Damon easily slipped through the threshold and Athena sighed.
"Thank you again, Eden. You have no idea how much this means to me." She told her as the girl rolled her eyes.
"Please A, as if anything will happen. I've already put the protection charms up and everything else." She told her as Athena smiled and hugged her friend.
"Thank you." She whispered into her ear and pulled away while looking over her.
"I'm going to head to my room though. I'm exhausted." She teased and the girl smiled while nodding her head and she watched as Athena walked up the stairs.
Damon groaned and sat on the couch as he felt the flames heat his cool body. The older woman chuckled and flicked her wand to allow a cup of alcohol to float over to him. He jumped slightly and the girl sat down in front of his.
"I have done my research and I think a lot of supernatural creatures love their booze." She told him as she took a sip of her own fire whiskey.
The man furrowed his eyebrows and took a sip as he coughed slightly making her chuckle. "That's strong." He breathed out and she smirked.
"It's fire whiskey." She told him as he coughed and hit his chest slightly.
She gulped the rest of hers down without a problem and she looked over Damon as he placed his drink down on the table. "So, why are you still up?" She asked and Damon clapped his hands over his legs slightly.
"Well, I still don't understand Athena's whole story." He told her as Eden nods her head in understanding.
"Well, that's something you would have to ask her, because I'm not going to give out her whole life story." She told him and got up only for Damon to furrow his eyebrows.
"Could you give me a hint of what happened?" He asked and she smirked while snapping her fingers.
"I hoped you would understand." She mumbled and turned around. "The guy that's hunting her killed her mother while she saved Athena's life." She told him as he saw her saunter off, and he felt his heart plummet slightly for the young woman.
