Amy Vanderbilt does not do well with being ignored. In fact, she's never actually experienced being ignored until Ian Clark. That stops today. She was determined to get him to forgive her again. She was determined to get him to trust her with Annabelle again.

She pulled into the country club at around four. Walking around the light tragic of people roaming the club, she walked towards Ian's office. But before she could make it to his door, he saw her when he walked out of Shelby's office.

"What are you doing here?" Ian asked and the woman smiled before getting on her tip toes and placing a kiss on his cheek.

"I came to see you."

"For?" Ian asked and Amy bit her lips, not knowing what to say next.

"Because I wanted to see you. I thought you want to see me to." She explained and Ian frowned at her. "And because I don't like you mad at me."

Letting out a sigh through his nose, he grabbed her hand and led her to his office. Closing and locking the door behind him, he spun and faced his girlfriend.

"What part of I need time didn't you understand?" He asked her, making sure to not raise his voice at her. He raises his voice and she starts crying. She starts crying and it's a disastrous situation.

"Ian it's been weeks," Amy whined. "I miss you, I miss Annabelle. Please let me make it up to you."

"How?" Ian asked. "How will you make up being irresponsible with my daughter?"

"By reminding you that I know how to keep her safe. I know that she needs to sleep with that raggedy purple blanket on the left side of the bed for her to fall asleep. That her red little pumps are her favorite shoes because she says she feels like a big girl. She doesn't eat red vegetables, she hates Frozen and spaghetti is her favorite food." Amy explained and Ian crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"I forgot that she couldn't eat dairy," she stated. "But I didn't forget her to buckle her in her car seat. I didn't let her cross the street by herself. I didn't put Anna in any situation that I thought was dangerous. I simply forgot that she can't have dairy."

Amy looked up at Ian who was staring down at her. "I love your daughter as much as I love you, and I miss the both of you."

They stared at each other for a moment before Ian let out a defeated sigh.

"I'm picking her up in half an hour." He told her and Amy frowned. "Come with me to pick her up, she misses you too."

She blinked at him and Ian took a step towards her and placed a kiss on her lips.

"I missed you too," he wiped at her lips with the pad of his thump and she smiled at him before leaning back in and kissing him.

"Did you say you were picking Anna up in half an hour?" She whispered against his lips.
