After our confession two days ago, Adam showed his love for me more openly. He teased me, spun me around, and kissed me at random times. Since I've never been loved by anyone other than my brother, I didn't know how to respond back. He seemed to understand this, because he was fine with just seeing how happy I was. We still trained, because I had only a week until I competed. My birthday was in three days, but it didn't feel like it because I've been through so much.
"Hey." My attention was brought back to reality. "Do you think it would be possible to make yourself immortal?" I was taken by surprise at his question. If I did, I would make you immortal too so I wouldn't be alone." He gave me a sympathetic smile, then kissed my cheek. He held my hand and squeezed it. "I'll never leave you alone. Even to the ends of the earth."
