"There it is, the list." Cory smiled as he saw their gym teacher hanging up the list for the basketball tryouts, "Who made first string, who made second string, and who didn't even make the basketball team."

"What do you think is worse; second string or not making the team?" Shawn asked him as he leaned against the wall.

"Second string." Cory answer immediately, "What do you think is worse; second string or falling out of an airplane and landing on the Empire State Building on your eye?"

"This conversation is the worst." Elena threw in as she looked up from her book.

Cory ignored her, but that was what usually happened and Elena always took pleasure in watching him pout when he realized she had been right.

"Shouldn't do that." Elena sang as Cory attempted to angle a bucket full of blue paint on top of his door.

He'd been trying to think of prank to play on Eric and thought that this was the perfect idea.

Eric's class was having their picture day the next morning and there was no way he would be able to get all the paint off himself in just one night.

"What are you talking about, this is going to be perfect!" Cory smiled confidently.

"I'm sure." Elena smiled sarcastically.

She was just glad Shawn was too busy to come over, otherwise, she couldn't imagine what the two would have come up with.

Elena and Cory were playing cards when Eric walked in.

"Hey, Eric!" The two chorused as they stared down at there cards.

"Hey Ladybug, doofus." Eric smiled as he ruffled Elena's hair, who threw an arm around his waist in a side hug before turning back to her cards.

Eric laughed before making his way upstairs, "This is gonna be good!" Cory smirked.

"Cory!" They heard Eric yell and Cory burst out laughing as he called, "Coming."

"Get ready to see a life-sized smurf," Cory told Elena as he ran up the stairs

What they didn't know was that Eric had seen the bucket perched on the door and pulled it down, getting ready to shower Cory in it.

Cory found that out the hard way.

Elena laughed when she saw him walk down the stairs dejectedly, Eric in a fit of laughter behind him.

"I thought you said the surf would be life-sized," She joked as he slumped down on the steps.
