So since Serpentine Vocal Cords don't speak Human, only growls, snarls, roars and barks (ect) they communicate through Telepathy to one another.

However in Literature their alphabet is very similar to standard Overworldian Characters. Except words are often Spelt backwards and pronounced backwards except for Names; a Person or Place. And Foreign words. This is the case for words in other languages as well other than English- they would be spelt in reverse (except for the Names) and pronounced in reverse (again, except for Names).

Eg; Candy would be spelt in that order. But Lion would be rearraged to Noil and translated into those characters and also pronounced as  Nnn-OO-EE-LL

The words are written underneath eachother like this:

Lion (or in this case Noil)
Tomato
Candy
Emerald

And when you make it to the bottom of the page (or whatever it is your writing on) you will return to the top, beside the current column of text and continue writing.

eg

1Lion             5Penguin
2Tomato           6Taco
3Candy              7Carrot
4Emerald          8Sapphire

Numbers are often written in Characters similar to Roman Numerals, however minus the Characters that look like English letters replaced with Dawiniun Characters.

In truth it's a very complicated thing. I can see people asking. IF SERPENTINES SPEAK TELEPATHICALY THEN WHY DON'T THEY PRONOUNCE THE WORDS CORRECTLY?!

Well technically when speaking telepathically, they're not specifically speaking a certain language. Their thoughts are being transmitted to you in a code that your brain identifies and translates into your understood language.

So when Serpentines transmit their thoughts specifically translated into their own language your brain doesn't know how to identify and translate them properly for some reason (i'm sorry if this is confusing) so it tries it's best and identifies the translation as a reversal of your understood language

Feel free to ask questions if need be
