Baby shower part 2

Kol's pov

Me and Davina sat in front of everyone opening presents they had bought us for our child, so far we received a few handmade baby rattles from Nik he even carved the Mikaelson crest on them which earned an eye roll from Damon which resulted in me glaring at him, we got a high chair from Alaric who made a quick appearance before taking off, a pack of six white baby grows and six pairs of baby booties from Josie, some baby books from Bonnie, we got a car seat along with some white and yellow baby vests from Marnie, toy blocks and a rocking horse from Elijah, baby hats and Nursery rhymes from Damon which surprised me as I thought he just wouldn't bother getting a gift, we got diapers and some baby vests from Elena I heard Rebekah scoff at the gift which made me smirk but Davina noticed and elbowed me and we got a changing table from Stefan.

We have two gifts left to open from Rebekah and Caroline who insisted that we open their gifts last. "So now time for my gift" Rebekah says getting up from her seat and leaving the room, she comes back a minute later carrying a huge box wrapped in yellow wrapping paper "Rebekah" Davina says standing up looking at the box "open it" Rebekah says with a big smile on her face, Davina looks back at me as she moves to stand in front of the box "Kol come open it with me" she says I instantly stand up and walk over to her.

Together we tear off the wrapping paper until it's all gone only to see another layer of wrapping paper but this time it's white wrapping paper I glare at my sister "seriously" I say before tearing that layer off too "oh my goodness" Davina gasps when she sees what it is "you shouldn't have" Davina says hugging her Rebekah has bought us a crib a nice little white one which rocks so you can rock the baby to sleep "nonsense of course I did" Rebekah says "me and Kol were supposed to sort that out" she says "well I just gave you one less thing to worry about I wanted to get something nice for my little niece or nephew" Rebekah replies "thanks Bekah this is great" I say giving her a smile "no problem" she says "alright time for my gift" Caroline says clapping her hands as she stands up from her seat and exits the room.

She returns five minutes later with a large basket and a pram with a bow on it "Caroline what the" Davina gasps trailing off "you've had a hard time here in Mystic falls and I feel bad for that you shouldn't have to go through so much crap so I got you more than one gift" she says pushing the pram towards me and Davina "it's beautiful" Davina says

"It's currently the most secure and comfortable pram for babies in particular newborn babies so no need to worry about it breaking down or rolling away" Caroline says "it's perfect thank you now as for the basket" Davina says Caroline grabs the basket "since you two refuse to find out the gender I didn't know what clothes to buy but then I thought why not buy you both types of clothes" she says giving me the basket me and Davina sit down and unwrap the basket "I bought you a few things in case the baby's a boy and a few things if the baby's a girl" Caroline explains we look through the basket and find three boy t-shirts, three pairs of boy jeans, three boy baby grows, three girl tops, two pairs of tights, two pairs of girl jeans, three dresses and three girl baby grows "you might not want to know the gender but you do need to be prepared so I'm giving you a heads start" she says "well that's the baby's hospital bag sorted" Davina jokes making us chuckle "guys this has been great all these gifts are amazing we really appreciate this" I say "can't believe we're all in the same room and nobody's dead yet" Davina says "well we made an agreement not to fight today" Bonnie says "you lot are still fighting?" Davina asks "no but we still aren't fond of each other" Damon says "can't you get along like you are now? if you're willing to get along just for today you can manage to get along all the time" she says "I think we all could" Marnie "no it won't work" Damon says "it could if you're willing" she retorts "well most of us aren't willing there's been too much betrayal" Damon I scoff at him "what? You mean like how Elena almost got Davina and our unborn child killed" I say Elena stands up glaring at me "shut up!" She yells "don't you dare tell my brother to shut up when he's right" Rebekah says "she made a mistake she doesn't mean harm to Davina or your child" Damon says "of course you would defend her seeing as you're in love with her" Nik says making the room go silent.

"I don't know what you're talking about" Damon says "oh don't be daft everybody knows you love Elena" Caroline says "we like each other as friends she's in love with Stefan" he says "really? Do friends have sex" Caroline says "Care" Elena gasps "what do you mean?" Stefan asks "I caught Damon and Elena having sex while Stefan was away with Klaus" Caroline says "what?" Stefan asks looking hurt "oh yeah while you were gone these two were getting steamy between the sheets with each other" Caroline explains Stefan stands up "tell me this isn't true?" Stefan asks looking at both Damon and Elena, I see Nik smirking from the corner of my eye and I see Rebekah eating popcorn as if she's watching a serious sitcom drama "it was a one time thing and it was in the heat of the moment" Elena says "you whore!" Stefan spat "Stefan that was uncalled for" Damon says "no what was uncalled for was sleeping with the girl I was dating" Stefan says pushing Damon "well if you had stood your ground to Klaus instead of being a pussy then maybe it wouldn't have happened" Damon retorts "oh I bet you and Elena still would've slept together even if Stefan had stayed" Rebekah says "shut it Barbie!" Damon yells Rebekah glares at him and throws an empty plate at his head "you know what I'm glad I know" Stefan says "what?" Elena says "it saves me from going after you all you ever did is somehow make me a bad father" Stefan says "how did I make you a bad father?" Elena asks "you always encouraged me that Davina was fine without me that I should give her space or I should be strict and harsh with who she dates that I shouldn't let her get away with being a brat" Stefan says "you called my daughter a brat?" Marnie asks standing up "I never meant those things like that I just think you should be more strict with her I mean she's naive she's been away from her parents for 10 years she knows nothing of how to be respectful or how the real world works" Elena says I notice Davina clenching her fists from the corner of my eye "it's not her fault she was away from her parents it was Katherine's and my daughter is more respectful than you" Marnie says "guys can we just calm down this is getting out of hand" Davina says looking worried and fed up "no this needs to be done" Damon says "no it doesn't can you all please drop this" she says "I can't drop the fact I'm standing in the same room as a slut and the son of a bitch I call brother" Stefan says "Stefan stop this me and Damon are sorry" Elena says "were you sorry when Damon was buried between your legs?" He asks "that's disgusting" Elijah says reading a book where the hell did he get that room "look the point is we're sorry" Elena says "you're not sorry" Stefan says before vamp speeding away Elena looks at Caroline "this is your fault" she says Caroline glares at her "how is this my fault?" She asks "you told him" Elena replies "I wouldn't have told him if you hadn't slept with Damon" she responds "this baby shower was a bad idea infact this baby is a bad idea" Elena says making me glare at her along with Nik, Rebekah and Elijah "take that back" Marnie says "no I won't because of this stupid baby we have to put up with you monsters all because Davina wants you to be in her childs life if I were her I'd cut you off and I'd abort the baby" she says shrugging "Elena" Damon scowls "you're thinking it too Damon" Elena replies "ahhh!" Davina yells in pain making us all look her way she's sat clutching her baby bump I vamp speed over to her "darling what's the matter?" I ask "I think there's something wrong with the baby there's pain everywhere" she winches I bite into my wrist and bring it too her lips "drink" I say she slowly drinks but a few seconds later when I pull away she throws the blood back up "my blood didn't work" I say "ahh! What's wrong with my baby!" She cries coughing "we need to get her to the hospital" Josie says looking worried I quickly swoop her into my arms just as she passes out.
