Marco was starting to freak out his hands were shaking so badly that he couldn't find Jean's pulse anywhere. When he finally tried to steady his hand he felt something a flutter of a pulse. After feeling that sliver of hope he put his hand in front of Jean's nose and mouth to see if he could feel him breathing at all.

His thoughts were bouncing all over the place inside his head. He was scared, more scared than he had ever been seeing Jean like that through him straight into a panicked and frantic mode. The thoughts were coming and going so fast that he couldn't even process most of them. He tried to take a deep breath to clear some of them away but when that didn't work he powered through and continued to try and check for breathing even though he was so numb he wouldn't even be able to feel a slug to the shoulder.

While he was checking his breathing Jean let out a laugh before sitting up. He gave Marco a playful smile before sticking his tongue out at him and rolling his eyes up.

Marco sighed in relief before feeling the urge to whack him upside the head, but he didn't instead he glared at him. "I hate you sometimes," Marco said with a pout, "you scared me, Jean," Marco said before leaning his head on Jean's shoulder taking a moment to get rid of all this new anxiety and adrenaline. He was used to Jean's pranks by now, but he never thought one of his pranks would scare him this much. He took a few breaths before getting over most of the panic. "How did you even do this," Marco asked poking the special effects makeup put on Jean's chest.

"Eren," Jean said causing Marco to sigh and stand up.

"Of course," he said rolling his eyes with a smile. "Wait he knows how to do special effects makeup?" He asked a little confused.

"Apparently if he watches a youtube video he can imitate what they do really well," Jean said with a shrug as he stood up too.

"Talent," Marco said with a shrug.

"Also a salesman stopped by earlier," Jean said remembering.

"What were they selling?" He asked a little curious.

"No clue, the dude took one look at me and booked it," Jean said laughing a bit.

"You didn't open the door like that did you?" Marco asked.

"Of course I did," Jean snickered.

Marco rolled his eyes before remembering that "bloody" thing he had noticed a few moments earlier "what's that in your hand?" Marco asked.

"It's my heart," Jean said showing Marco. He hands it to him so he could get a closer look.

"It's your's and it's been yours ever since I first laid my eyes on you. My heart belongs to you it always has and always will," Jean said reaching out and grabbing Marco's free hand with his good hand. "I gave you my heart," Jean said before going down on one knee and pulling the box out of his back pocket, "Will you do me the honor of giving me yours?" Jean asked as he opened the little box exposing the beautiful ring. "Marco, will you marry me? Jean said asking the special question he had been trying to muster up the courage to ask for a while now.

Marco stood there with a blank stare processing what he had just heard before bring his hand up to his mouth when the message finally got through to him and he smiled widely as a few tears slipped from his eyes. "Yes," Marco said, "yes, yes yes," he said as Jean slid the ring on his finger before standing up and wrapping his arms around Marco and pulling him close and lifting him up a little as he hugged him.

Their lips met with a passionate kiss and Marco pulled away feeling a wet substance on his hand. He looked down and saw the fake blood on it and rolled his eyes.

"Before we do anything your cleaning all this up and showering," Marco said rolling his eyes and shaking his head.

"Fine," Jean pouted, "Wait for me in the bedroom," he said rushing to get the cleaning supplies to get the fake blood off the floor. It was rather easy since they made it with non-stain substances.

"If you take too long I'll go to sleep," Marco said as a warning heading to the bedroom.

"You know that won't work," Jean said back teasingly. "I'll just find a rather fun way to wake you up," he said smiling devilishly.

"Promise?" Marco said flirting a bit back.

"You bet your sweet ass," Jean smiled, "I was planning on only taking a 5-minute shower, now I'm tempted to take a longer one," he said as he cleaned up the last bit of the blood.

"Don't take too long," Marco said with a devious smile, "or I'll start without you," he said before disappearing into the bedroom.

Jean's eyes went wide as he ran to the shower to hurry up and get in the bedroom. He took off all the fake blood and special effects makeup and when he knew it was gone he didn't even bother to put any clothes back on as he made his way to the bedroom that was down the hall. In doing so he past Armin who had just came back home from his classes. Armin quickly covered his eyes as Jean covered something else.

"I'll take that as, he said yes," Armin said.

"Yeah," Jean laughed awkwardly.

"Alright," Armin said turning around, "have fun, and let's never speak of this," he said before heading back to his room deciding he didn't need to use the bathroom all that badly anymore.

Jean wiped the embarrassment off of his face shaking his head feeling a little guilty for scaring Armin. He took a deep breath before entering the bedroom where Marco was already laying on the bed waiting for him. He was in nothing but boxers and his hard-on was creating a large bulge in them showing off his impressive length through the stretched fabric.

Jean whistled at the sight before making his way over to the bed swinging the door shut.

The door closed and they disappeared for the rest of the night. Armin, on the other hand, had slept with his headphones blasting in his ears. It wasn't that they were being all that noisy, but he wasn't taking any chances.
