Jimin's birthday was getting closer and closer, making Yoongi stressed out. He had no idea what to buy for his boyfriend. Jimin always told him that he needed nothing, that only being with Yoongi was enough for him.

And they were gonna be together on Jimin's birthday. Yoongi had planned on flying to the island with Jimin to really get some privacy. Taehyung and Jungkook had already offered to take care of Chan while they were gone.

October 13th was only under two weeks away and Yoongi was now starting to majorly freak out.

He wanted to show Jimin how much he meant to him with something nice, but this was his first time buying a birthdaygift to someone so important, let alone his boyfriend- who was just too good to be a real human being.

"What are you thinking so hard?" Jimin chuckled, poking Yoongi on his arm.

"Hmh?"

"I asked if you wanted to order some food but you didn't even hear me."

Yoongi smiled at Jimin slightly. "Sorry."

Jimin scooted a little closer to him on the couch and tilted his head. "What were you thinking?"

"Nothing." Yoongi lied.

"No really, you've been acting kind of strange for a while now." Jimin sighed. "Like something's bothering you."

"It's nothing, babe." Yoongi smiled reassuringly.

Jimin shook his head, a small chuckle escaping his mouth. "You're such a bad liar."

"Okay, I have something on my mind but the whole thing will be ruined if I ask your advice."

"Come on, tell me."

Yoongi turned his body towards Jimin. "It's gonna be your birthday soon."

Jimin just nodded, now fully aware of what Yoongi had been worrying about.

"And I want to buy you a gift but you haven't talked about anything you'd want."

"I don't need anything."

"You always say that."

"It's true." Jimin shrugged. "There's only one thing that I want and need, and I already have it."

Yoongi rolled his eyes at Jimin who was pointing at him. Still he couldn't help but smile a little. He was so in love with him, and now he knew what to give him.

The two weeks went by faster than expected and soon the two were back at the island.

"You're gonna be 22 in less than a hour, how do you feel?" Yoongi asked, staring at his boyfriend who was chewing a mouthful of ramen.

"I don't really feel different at all." Jimin shrugged.

Yoongi nodded.

He felt really nervous, like so nervous that he just wanted to puke.

"Jimin..." He spoke quietly. "How much do you love me?"

Jimin looked up from the bowl of ramen, his eyebrows furrowed. "What kind of question is that?"

Yoongi just stared at him, the most innocent look on his face.

Jimin's lips curved up in a small smile. "I love you so much that it can not be expressed in words. Why are you asking this?"

Yoongi let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding in. "I love you too."

Jimin chuckled. "What is going on with you?"

"Nothing."

Just a few minutes before the clock hit the midnight mark, the couple headed up to the roof.

Yoongi kept fiddling with the gift that was in his pocket, getting more and more nervous as the seconds went by.

"This is just like our first time here." Jimin smiled, looking up at the sky as they sat down on the chairs that Yoongi had set up.

"Yeah."

Yoongi had planned it all out perfectly, but he couldn't help but be nervous. He glanced at the clock on his wrist and realized that the time was going to be in thirty seconds.

He turned to look at Jimin, the man he loved so much. He was so beautiful, as always. He was looking up at the sky, unaware of the fact that Yoongi was staring at him fondly.

"Happy birthday." Yoongi spoke softly as the clock hit 12.

Jimin turned to look at him with a smile on his face and placed a small kiss on his lips. "Thanks."

Yoongi let out a long breath and stood up, taking a spot in front of him.

"Okay..." He chuckled. "Can you stay quiet for just a little while so I can say what I have to say? I think I might throw up if I don't say it all right now without any interruptions."

Jimin nodded, trying not to laugh at his boyfriend's adorableness.

"So..." Yoongi started. "Our relationship had a weird start. We literally moved in together after knowing eachother for only a second."

Jimin smiled at him.

"And after that we were screwed. I was so whipped from the moment I saw you it's actually funny." Yoongi laughed. "I fell in love with you so fast, and it was so scary but I loved every second of it. I don't know how this happened, my guess is that it's faith. How else could you explain it?"

He stared at Jimin in the eyes and pulled the ringbox out of his pocket. Yoongi opened it, revealing a simple but stunning silver ring.

"Whatever it is that brought us here, I'm going to pay back by making our story epic." He smiled.

Jimin's eyes were now wide open as he stared at Yoongi.

"I know it's not legal to get married here, and I don't know when it will be. But I want to be able to call you my husband. I want to be able to tell people I'm married. I want people to notice it from the ring on my ring finger before I even have to say it." Yoongi spoke. "Even if we don't have it on paper, even if some people may not agree with it and believe in us..."

Jimin let out a shaky breath as Yoongi kneeled down in front of him.

"Will you- Park Jimin marry me?" He spoke, now a lot more confident.

He wanted this, he needed this. And so did Jimin.

"Yes." Jimin whispered.

He hadn't even noticed the tear rolling down his cheek before Yoongi's thumb swiped it off.

"I love you so much." Jimin said.

"I love you too."

They shared a long, slow and passionate kiss before Yoongi slid the ring on to Jimin's finger.

It fit perfectly, just like the two of them fit together.

"You're mine, forever." He chuckled. "No backing away now."

"God I'm the luckiest." Jimin smiled widely, pulling Yoongi in for another kiss.

This chapter was something I spent a lot of time writing on. I had to fix so many things so many times and I feel like it still isn't good enough, but I hope it isn't disappointing.

Also this one is for Jimin's birthday. I know it's not yet, but I just wanted to publish it already since I haven't published anything in a while. I love Park Jimin and everything he does and doesn't do. Happy birthday.
