"Wow, this place looks awesome," I said as we walked into the restaurant.

It was a performance bar with a small stage and a bar not far from it, and a bunch of tables and booths everywhere.

"We come here every chance we get. Mostly for the mac n cheese," Emerson said, smiling happily at the end.

"And they make an AMAZING Nutella milkshake," Remington said excitedly. "Its to die for!"

I laughed at his excitement as we waited for a host to seat us. "You seem to be quite the Nutella fan."

"Oh, you don't even know the half of it," Sebastian laughed as then a host came up and escorted us to a long table to fit everyone.

I sat between CC and Remington with my father and stepmother across from me.

"Hey, looks like its kareoke night!" Ashley pointed out.

"Hey, CC, why not show them what you got!" Jake called out from the end of the table.

"You sing?" I asked with a laugh.

"Nah, but its funny when I sing Bon Jovi," he shrugged.

I laughed as I felt my brows burrow.

"Alright, who would like to step up and give us a little show?" the announcer asked through the mic.

"CC, go, come on!!" Ashley urged. "I know what you're gonna order, I'll get it for you."

"Fine fine fine," CC laughed as he held his hand up and was picked out.

"Oh, you're gonna love this," Jake laughed as they watched CC go on stage and pick a song, which I recognized was "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi.

(A/N: Had to bring this back, its too funny 😂😂😂)

Everyone was laughing their asses off, including me as CC energetically sang on the stage.

Soon the song ended and everyone cheered as CC bowed and handed the mic back efore claiming his seat next to me as the waitress who had come by during his performance finished taking our orders.

"So, Miss Cowell, how did I do?" CC joked with me and I laughed.

"Definitely better than some people," Alex laughed as she glanced at Juliet.

"You really need to watch your god damned mouth," Juliet snarled.

"What? You can't take some criticism, even form your own stepdaughter?" I asked in an innocent voice.

That's when my dad spoke.

*Andy*

"Alex, I'm curious," I said. "Have you ever sung in public?"

"Never had the time to, let alone interest," she shrugged, sipping on her coke. "Seemed like a waste of time."

"Sounds like stage fright," Juliet laughed.

"Only if you're the one on stage," Alex backlashed.

"Oooohh," almost everyone said as Juliet glared.
