We finally arrived to the hotel after a long trip and we all just ordered room service to CC's room before binge-watching movies on Netflix (seeing CC and the merch guy duet for a song from Moana, which was hilarious) and then heading to our rooms to sleep.

The next day was the first show and while Dad and the band were at soundcheck I walked around the place to just kill some time before the show.

I then decided to get a snack at went to the green room, seeing a wide variety of foods there.

The bottles of water was weird since there was even such a thing as diet water.

.... What the hell even is that?

"Has nobody ever just spent a dollar on a bottle of Nestle brand water? Its all the same," I sighed as I just grabbed a mineral water and apple.

"Certain venue managements tends to spoil us sometimes a bit too much," a voice chuckled and I turned to see a pale man dressed in a white dress shirt, black slacks with suspenders, and dress shoes, tattoos all over him.

"Kind of stupid that they do. No offense, but unless its Beyonce performing here, there shouldn't be such a huge deal made of a simple show," I said, and he laughed.

"You're pretty woke. Its a good feature," he said. "I'm William by the way."

"Control?" I asked.

"The one and only," he said. "And you are?"

"Alex," I greeted as we shook hands. "I'm with BVB."

"So you're Andy's daughter?" He asked.

I shrugged. "Guilty as charged."

"Wow.... You look exactly like him," he said as he observed me.

"Are you complimenting me or insulting me?" I joked, and he laughed.

"So, aside for food, what brings you around here?" He shrugged.

"Just looking around while everyone's at soundcheck. Since we unpacked early for merch, we got enough free time," I shrugged.

"Ahh," he said, nodding in understanding. "Well if you want, you can watch the soundcheck."

"I can?" I asked.

"Yeah, its private, but not for us. Come on," he motioned.

I shrugged and decided to follow him to the stage area.

The band stood there are a stage manager instructed them to test the amps and stuff.

"Alright, Andy, you're turn," he said.

I sipped my water as I watched Dad sing some lines.

"It still amazes me how deep his voice is sometimes," I said.

"Yeah, he's had it like that since the dawn of his music career," William said, then turned. "So, I heard your mother was once a tour assistant for the band in their youth?"

"Yep. She didn't tell me, though. She didn't want Andy finding out about me," I shrugged.

"Hmm... I see," he nodded. "Andy does have his moments sometimes, but his heart is in the right place."

"What about his mindset?" I asked.

William thought about it. "Like I said, he has his moments."

I chuckled as then Dad finished.

"Alright, good, now let's test the other mic for Juliet and Andy's duet later," the manager said.

I groaned to myself with an eye roll and William noticed.
