Totally forgot those existed last year, but remembered just in time this year! Good thing too, as I've got to remember the CL one as well. Anyways, this 25 man squad determines who we're allowed to put into the 18 man matchday squad, other 7, I presume, just kinda watch in nice tuxes and other nice pieces. Kinda like what we've been doing recently, a la recent TAA pics of not being on the pitch even though he really wanted to score another free kick.

Just a note, all the youth under the Under 21s list can still be a part of the match day squad, as Woodburn could be playing for the Acadamy one day and be with us in the next (not literally). Homegrown's a requirement for all teams, though some get away with it when they have a practically useless home grown player wasting away for a forever (get money, at least). 8 out of the 25 must be homegrown, and we currently have 9, so it's not like we were lacking in this place before. It still bothers me that Karius could have been homegrown had he stayed for just a few more months. Oh well, we've got our confirmed squad, with middle names (Jesus, Alex, he has too many names) and random pop ups (Sven is Karius' middle name, not expected).
