Chapter 10

We walked into the club. The music was really loud and people were drinking and dancing.

"Anne its too crowded maybe we should go?"

"Stop it, we look too good to leave, plus I want to introduce you to someone"

She was looking for someone looking back and forth.

"Found him" She said waiving to someone I couldn't see. I was behind her and people surrounded us

"Found who?"

"Hi darling" She said when the man came closer. It was her husband Max

"Hello beautiful." He was looking at her with eyes full of love

"Khmm Khmm" I said

"Oh hi Yulia didn't see you there"

"I kinda saw that"

"Is your friend here?" She winked at him

"Yeah, he is making a call outside"

"Okay, but did you guys got us a table, my shows are killing me"

"Yeah in VIP zone my dear"

I started laughing "You guys are too perfect"

She kissed him and said "We know" and winked at me

15 min later I got bored of sitting and looking at Anne and Max

"Guys I am gonna get a drink, do you want anything?" They were too busy talking about the color of their bedroom and the furniture to living room. They ignored my question so I just stood up and went to the bar. There were few empty seats so I took the one in the middle. Nice music was playing and I loved singing along looking at the people dancing

"Hello, how may I help you" said the barmen... super friendly with very pretty brown eyes

"I want Cola"

"Are you sure?" He looked at me smiling

"Yes, not a very big fan of drinking"

He went to get my cola when I heard someone said

"Bad experience?"

I turned to look who said it and saw Alex

"Alex? I didn't expect to see you here"

He looked at me smiling from ear to ear

"Got bored, wanted to take a break from dancing"

"You are here with..." I looked back to see who he came with

He was still looking at me

"I am here with friend"

"I think your friend will be sad if you will leave her for too long don't you think?"

He shakes his head and lift the drink to his leaps and said

"He will be fine" and took a sip of his drink

How stupid of me. If he is gay I give up in guys, please don't be gay...

"Here is your cola Miss"

"Thank you"

"Let me know if you will want anything else"

He left but Alex was still sitting next to me.

"I am sorry" he said quietly taking another sip of his drink

"What did you said" almost getting choke

"I said I am s..." he got intercepted by barman

"Miss, that man over there send you this drink"

Alex froze and looked at the guy who was sitting few feet away from us. He looked really familiar but wasn't sure who he was

"You know him?" Alex said

"No" "I am sorry could you please tell him I don't drink"

"Sure Miss"

"Sorry what were you saying?"

"I wanted to apologize for..." got interrupted again

"Yulia, I am really hurt that you send me drink back"

Tall guy was standing next to me smiling. He was in his 30s. Black hair dark green eyes.

Alex got up, his body got tense

"You said you don't know him"

"I really don't"

"How come he knows your name"

"Yuli really? You don't remember your old college friend?"

I was examining his face when it hit me. Annes ex boyfriend? Oh no thats bad. I need to get rid of him before he will see Anne.

"Adam, hi. Sorry its dark in here couldn't recognize"

"Great, I got scared for a sec that you are not who I thought you were"

Stupid me, why can't I play dump

"Alex this is Adam my friend from college"

Adam got his hand out to shake when Alex looked at me and then faced him trying to understand whats going on. He shook his hand and Adam set next to me.

"You look so gorgeous. I mean you were always pretty with your long hair but today you are like WOW, just WOW"

"What a complement" Alex said queasily taking another sip of his drink

"You said something?" Adam said to Alex

"I said she always looks stunning even in her everyday lazy cloths"

Adam gave me a look like are you two dating?

"He is my...." But I got interrupted by Alex who got up from his chair and said

"Its getting late, we gotta go" looking at me and offering his hand cause the chair was too high

Wait whats going on? Why is he interrupting me now.

Just when he was saying that I got a text from Anne

"We left Max there up in the bathroom. Looks like he ate old shrimp or something. Will call you tomorrow. Sorry, I will make up to you. Promise"

I saw my screen turning one and grabbed it before Adams eyes laid down on it. I checked my message and said

"He is right its 2:20 am."

"Stay for a little longer the night only begins" Adam said

"Its morning, and we need to get up early tomorrow" Alex looked mad

"Oh okay. I will add you on Facebook and we can catch up on everything"

"Okay Adam. See you later"

Alex grabbed my hand and we walked out really fast

Even his hands are so strong. He still had that scar and his broken lip was healing up.

Alex drove us home. I wanted to drive but he just ignore me.

I opened the door to our apartment and we both walked in. He went straight to his room and before closing the door said

"Good night" and closed the door

"Night" I said putting down my keys.
