Alex POV

Jonas Bar.
Alex was sitting in the bar with a drink. His friends from the party were dancing and drinking while Alex was staring at his ring that was set on the table. It wasn't the best day for him, but he tried to get away from his pain. And thats when he thought of the wedding of his best friend.

Flashback to July 16
9:30 pm I was taking and talking on the phone with my best friend who was getting married. These few years after college my life because so busy that I barely found any time for my friends. I met his wife only Skype few times and she seemed as a really nice girl.

-Dude I promise I will make it to your wedding. No, you don't need to give phone to Anna.... Hi An, I am good. Yes. I promised you that I will be on your wedding and I will. No not really. I will make it. My flight is at 08:00 am plus its not winter so I should be fine.

July 17

My flight was canceled do to a heavy rain in my state so I was late to the wedding by few hours. When I finally made it to the city my boss called about an accident on one of his offices in the city so I had to go there first.

Some idiot decided to start a fire because he was fired, okay I am sorry not an idiot just not a very smart person. By the time I talked to the workers and fire fighters it was already 6:30. When I realized what time it is I saw that my phone was dead.Anyway it took me another hour to make it to the wedding place. It was already 8:00

The hall was all covered in flowers. I walked in and saw small group of girls in purple talking to An and laughing. When they all say their faces got serious and An turned to face me.

She was shocked.

-oh my God Alex are you okay? What happened? Mathew was worried about you but forgot his phone at home. Boys were calling you but you didn't answer. (She said walking up to me)

-I am okay Anne, we just had an accident at one of the offices here in the city. I am okay

-Dude, what happened? I saw Andrew and Josh running up to me.

I had to tell them my crazy story and when I finished she was gone.

-I called you like billion times (Andrew the best man)

-oh God I am glad you are okay. I was so worried (Josh)

-Guys I am fine, really

-Good, cause you need to see your face. (He started to laugh)

-Whats with it?

-You look like  homeless

I  looked down at my suit and shoes they were all dirty and some fabric on my shirt was ripped.

-I think I need to go to the bathroom

8:30 pm

I am at the bathroom.

I look like a mess. (I said looking at myself )
Glasses broken, shirt ripped, pants dirty..... looks like I was the one who was fighting with the fire. Well I tried to help but not that much. Except one of the ladies bribed on my shirt and was screaming help when she was already outside. I do look good but someone lets not be desperate.....

-You own me  huge apologies (I didn't see him standing behind me, when did he walked in)

I turned to face him

I am sorry Mathew it was a crazy day
I heard but you that doesn't mean you can't apologize to me
Sorry man. I really wanted to be here for you but
I am joking. Come here (he wanted to give me a hug?)
Since when you love hugs
He just stepped closer and gave me a huge hug. I was worried that something might of happened. You always answer to you phone and you weren't

We spend another 15 min talking in the bathroom. Josh brought me a shirt from his car. Don't ask why, I have no idea. Maybe because he is germaphobic and hates when he gets anything on himself

When I walked into the dancing room I saw my angel dancing with Mark. Just y luck. I walked to the table where I had to sit for the wedding Lucky number 21. Don't ask why, its just my lucky number

-Lonely? Can I sit with you.

I looked up and saw Kat. We used to be good friends in college till the day we all graduated. I never looked like I am looking right now I was more like a geek with big fancy glasses and always in the library. I loved library it was my favorite place to be. I hoped her out so much in school and hope that one day she will become mine

-Hey Kat
-Hi Handsome. Do you know me?
She had dark shirt black dress on with huge high heels. She did some surgery on her nose because it looked smaller and prettier than before.

-I don't know. NYU class of 2013
-Michael? (She doesn't remember me?)
-Nope
-Sebastian?
-Still wrong

-Hey Alex, can you dance with me (Mathews younger sister)
-Hi Beatrice, sure will

-OH MY GOD ALEX NIKOLAS BELL? 

I turned and saw her reaction. She was shocked. She was looking at me and could believe her eyes

-Your second name is Nikolas?
-Yeap

I spend the rest of the night dancing with Beatrice. She was lonely and I had an excuse to stay away from Kat
