The battle of Trost had lasted for a long time. Soon Eren used his titan form to help seal up the wall. You sighed in relief as you watched from the walls.
Reiner then sat down beside you along with Bertholdt and Annie.
"Hey. What regiment are you going to join," Bertholdt asked.
"Scouts. I want to help with humanity even if I didn't grow up here," you said.
Reiner gazed at you with worry and then nodded.
"I'll join the scouts as well," Reiner announced.
"Me as well," Bertholdt said and smiled.
You looked over at Annie. She was staring down at her boots and sighed.
"I'm sorry. I'm joining the Military Police. It's for the best and these two know it," Annie said to you.
You nodded in understanding and then hugged her tightly.
"I'm going to miss you so much," you said and sighed.
"Don't worry. We'll see each other again," Annie said and smiled.
You smiled and then you all did a group hug.
