Dallas was still in the hospital after rescuing the kids with PonyBoy and Johnny from the church.
TwoBit and PonyBoy went to go see him. You stayed home because you hated seeing Dallas and Johnny hurt.
"She's a mess man," TwoBit mumbled.
"Yeah, she hasn't left the house in a few days." PonyBoy finished.
Dallas looked down.
He thought for a moment.
"Gosh... I wish I could just see her. I'm only staying in this dang hospital because she wants me better." He mumbled.
Dallas look over to PonyBoy
and pulled him closer.
"I want you, to look after her."
He started.
"I want to Make sure I see her the second I get out of here. And tell her I miss her," By the end of the sentence it was a mumble, as Dallas finished.
Dallas cared so much. Too much he sometimes didn't let it all show.
