Steve previously asked PonyBoy, who is your best friend, to find out if you liked anyone. More specifically, maybe Steve.
One morning at the Curtis' house. Steve and the rest of the gang were there, as usual. But today y/n wasn't.
PonyBoy walked out from the bedroom and into the living room where, Steve and Sodapop stood.
PonyBoy went to go to the kitchen when Steve stopped him.
He whispered lowly in his ear, so only he could hear.
"Hey PonyBoy, did you ask her, man?"
He thought for a moment.
"Yeah man, I did. and don't worry she likes you too," PonyBoy replied, making his way towards the kitchen again.
