Ellie's POV
I feel Jason waking me up and he says to me, "It's 10 minutes until midnight." I groans and reply, "Why'd you wake me?" He picks me up and opens the sliding door to the balcony, "Because at midnight we have our own ball drop and fireworks go off."

I smile at him and we stand at the railing looking at the city in the distance. "So you've never been to one of these parties?" I shake my head and ask him, "How do you get a room here since you know, you're the Jason McCann."

He laughs a little then says, "This hotel belongs to people from the CIP so they let us host the party and stay here." I nod my head and we continue talking about random things.

"10 seconds." Jason says as we hear people gather outside below us and chant the numbers. "Have you ever kissed somebody?" Jason asks and I shake my head.

"You know New Years is a great time for that."

3...2...1

Before I know what's going on Jason's hand is caressing my cheek and he moves in closer to me. His soft lips gently press against mine as fireworks go off. I move my lips against his and I feel him smiling against mine.

When he pulls away I look down so he doesn't see me blushing. "C-Can I sleep with you tonight?" I ask and he nods. He hugs me and keep my small body against his. I start to shiver so he picks me and sets me on the bed.

I watch him go to his suitcase and pull out a pair of boxers and a t-shirt. He gives me the shirt and I stare at him. "Don't worry, I won't look." he says turning around. I close the blinds and strip off my dress. I take off my jewelry and put on the shirt, that's what I realize Jason was looking into the mirror the whole time.

I go up to him and smack his arm. He laughs and starts to take off his jacket. I go to the bed and pull back the covers. Seconds later Jason walks over in just grey boxers and gets in next to me. I scoot closer to him and I feel his arms wrap around me.

"Goodnight Jason." I mumble into his chest.

"Goodnight sweetheart."
