Ellie's POV
I get home for McKenzie's and I look at Jason's text saying for me not to bring up the CIP. I see my dad and he smiles at me. "Hey kiddo, how was your friends." I give him a thumbs up and walk upstairs.
"Ellie what's wrong sweetheart." I stop in my tracks. Jason calls me that, I think to myself. "Please don't call me that dad." I say.
"Dad? Well this is new." he says standing at the bottom of the steps. "Please just leave me alone." I say quietly. "Ellie what's wrong."
I try not to bring up the CIP and that he's been lying to me. I run to my room and close the door. I pull out my phone and go onto messages.
It's like I need to text Jason.
